hi! welcome to eplaya
The day will come when, after harnessing the ether, the winds, the tides, gravitation, we shall harness for God the energies of love. And, on that day, for the second time in the history of the world, man will have discovered fire.

Hey Frizzboom! Welcome to eplaya!
There truly is a wealth of information on the boards!
If you're gonna be spending a lot of time here, ya might as well tell us a little more about your self!
Are you traveling alone? With a group?

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Thanks, a bit about us, we are looking to burn for the first time next year. however 650 smackers is a deal breaker so i hope the post holiday ticket prices are a bit less. We are VW folks, and plan to drive our Westfalia out there. I built a 12X 30 monkey hut today, what a blast, we needed some temporary storage space and decided to commit to it. Very fun. I will be gifting fire juggling, my wife some nurse skills, and a little free library on the playa. We collect vintage bikes, cast iron cookware, and good attitudes. Peace.

Hi Frizzboom! The monkey hut sounds great. They are a tried and true shade structure for the playa. And regarding tickets, personally I remain confident that the regular tickets will be notably less expensive than the Holiday ticket price. Stay tuned for the January 4th ticket announcement. Woohoo!
