"tomorrow morning" should be a fine answer.
accurate time is good, as a relative thing for stuff like GPS, and internet things.
but, IMO, "natural time" has very few components, that matter.
In fact Right now, by my Reckoning. it is 8:00am Friday Morning Decembersomthing, the year, 40.

lovin you BB!!!!!
gettin cold there yet?
I don't get people:
when I got to the Hof the other day, the gate was not closed right, both outhouse doors were left open, and someone left their shooting targets and such, just laying there..........and, I'm guessing they had a forest service lock key (F.S. asked if they could put a lock of theirs on my gate in case of fire). But jeeze....no tresspassing signs everywhere!! Sure, it could have been worse, they seemed not to damage anything,, but still.........does "no tresspassing" not mean anything, anymore?

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Hi Ygmir. I would love to visit you at the Hof. Looks like a Beautiful place.
We are getting along fine here. Ran out of propane again. the flying J on 9th west where we went to get some had lost the adapter so we could not get the tank filled there. No problem says the wannabe blonde at the counter. "There is another store just north of here. just get on there freeway and go north to exit 17 and it is right there. So we go north about 3 miles and pass exit 21. 2 miles later we pass exit 22. WTF??? So we turn around and find exit 17. And it goes back to her own store.
So we go to a micky D to get an internet connection and get a number for the Flying J in North Salt Lake and call them. Easy says the girl on the phone. (Probably a wannabe blonde too.) It is just off the freeway, exit 27 on redwood road. Well I an already on Redwood road so I ask what north or south that is. "It's at Northpoint Circle" she says. (yep, gotta be a wannabe blonde too).
"Great" I say, what north is that?"
"It's on Redwood Road." She says.
"Redwood road." I say. Yes says the girl, "you can't miss it." Right here my daughter, who can at least hear my end of the conversation, starts poking me so that I won't say anything rude.
So I tell blondie that I am on Redwood road. There is a short moment of silence and then she says "Really? How far away are you?" My daughter again pokes me, this time really hard. "I don't know" I say. "What is the street number for Northpoint Circle?"
I am sure that a little tiny LED light finally went on over Blondie's head because she said, "I don't know, let me ask." Now we are getting somewhere, I thought. So she asks and I can hear a girl reply in the background. " Northpoint Circle." I am now really glad that I do not have stock in Flying J because I am sure that, with all those blondes, they will soon go out of business. Eventually I do get it out of her that they are on 350 north. "But" she says, "we do not have anyone who can dispense propane here until 6 am." It was already 1 am.
It is a good thing we have lots of blankets.
At 9 am we go up Redwood road about 10 miles to 350 north and there is no flying J. So I call the store again and a guy answers. And when I tell him my story he laughs and says that I have to go 5 more miles north to get there. When I get there and walk inside there is a blonde at the counter. I sure am glad she was not the one who dispensed the propane.
My apologies to all the real blondes out there. What a shame to be so badly stereotyped.

wow BB!!
I think we can all sympathize, with some folks, who just show up for a job, and can't tie their own shoes........but, give an answer, right or wrong.
too bad you're not close........I fill my own, and others, propane tanks, from my tank farm. it's so much cheaper, house price compared to "Flying K".

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Box Burner, you got your wish -- in a sense. Flying J went bankrupt a few years ago. The stores were split up between other truck stop chains. A few stores still use the Flying J name.
Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Thanks, BB. It did end up well, I got a call (just after I left my apartment, and just before I left the building). scheduling a job interview for Friday. I also may have an orientation for a temp job sometime last week.
From what I can tell, from working at lower tier jobs, you are actually encouraged to give an answer, even if you know you have no idea what you are talking about, or to outright lie, in order to make your customer feel good. (This was driven home when I was working as a supply clerk to the operating rooms at one of the mid-west's largest hospitals. People didn't like it that i was telling the O.R.s "No, we don't HAVE any more of those instrument pans! There were five operations scheduled for which use them, and the hospital only has three!" The fact that had occurred was, of course, OUR fault, not whoever scheduled the operations. Thus, I was told I should do what the other supply clerks did, and simply tell the nurses who called down to request the pans that they were on their way and would arrive soon. This was then same place where I learned that, if an employee is acting suicidal, the responsible thing to do, from a corporate point of view, is send the employee home immediately, in hopes of avoiding bad publicity.)
Sorry, the hospital may have been quite a while ago, but...
I hope that the propane situation straightens itself out.
Good night, everyone.

That's the sort of corporate thinking that results in me currently shopping to rent a hearse, plaster the hospital logo on it and drive around until their board lose thir fucking minds, or the story goes viral.

No bleeding or breeding here, month three of what might finally be menopause. Very exciting. No, really, I've been waiting for this for years now. Wish me luck and infertility.
Boobies and bunnies and slot tracks.... oh my.

Good morning, and mmm...
BB, yeah, Elliot's correct, Pilot bought out the Flying Js and closed the poorly performing ones. We used to have the corporate office right here in Ogden.
I've only missed two or three in a row, never more, but fingers crossed. Missing a period has always terrified me after the ectopics, even when I had my one remaining tube tied. Scary stuff, being fertile.

yes Yggy it would be good this month because the price is down and with an r..wish I could visit your Hof ..maybe guard against the one who doesnt close the door.
.and with those changes as testosterone increases and estrogen decreases as one ages
.BB your time of propane search was recognizable and maybe your daughter could be borrowed from time to time ?
to remind me to be cool . lately. as the t. kicks up I find myself wanting to uppercut jerks instead of mouthing off.
Good Morning dear nbf's .off to work it out

Frost on the rooftops for the first time this AM. But nice and sunny. Loved your story BB.
Lordy it's Thursday already. Been at rehearsals almost every evening for a show that opens on January 31 and runs thru February 2. About 20+ songs and a cast of about 30. Musical comedy with a tennis theme. This is the 11th show our tennis club has done over the last 20 years and I've been involved on stage and in management and production in the last 10. We get an audience of about 550 over the 3 performances. Huge amount of work that I swear I'll never do again, right up until the moment the curtain goes up, and then I know that I'll be there to do another one. Ahhh the roar of the grease paint and the smell of the crowd!
Dang, YG, that folks don't put things back the way they found them. Guess they don't get LNT. Hi Fishy, Anti M, Pink, ASD and MDF.

I don't know... I Think I miss having a more predictable temperament, and focus, more than I celebrate that other absence.
I never give driving directions that I'm not absolutely certain of, and that's rare too. If I don't know, sometimes I hand the customer a package, and I take one, and we read instructions, applications, and ingredients together. I learn a lot that way. Most people want to sense that you care and that you are trying. Sometimes there is no expert available. If they walk away grumbling, then I figure I satisfied their desire to find fault in others in order to feel better about themselves. Thinking that a certain type of job defines a person is also something I try not to do.

i want that clock!
super hi everyone! thats hi in a super way not super high *sigh* working with stupid social housing people is making explain everything very carefully
I believe it was created by Mozy Bonz......I know he's the one who passed them out. I'd bet he did the art, too.
if one wanted to print, and cared who's it was, I'd suggest maybe a trip to "the bar" ( original) and post it along with said request.
if anyone knows where Mozy Bonz is, it'd be someone in there.
