I don't really have a clue what they look like. Strange places like police cars in San Jose...

Oregon has a 45% chance of volcanos follwed by mostly cloudy.

California will probably see 600 earthquakes this week. http://quake.usgs.gov/recenteqs/latest.htm

And howcome weather people never say "Mostly Cloudy"?

Good Morning!

Post by sputnik » Tue Oct 12, 2004 7:33 am

It seems I have the pleasure of being the first one in here in the morning. That's what I get for being on east coast time in a west coast time zone I guess.

I'm firing up the coffee pot.

Anyone need a cap or espresso, let me know.

You and me both.

Here you go, cream and sugar are on the bar, or do you need something a bit stronger?

Sputnik, I have taken to just leaving my coffee mug here, since this is the only place I use it. It should be behind the bar... it says "presidential scholar" on it in 24 karat gold...

Tish, I've been waiting for you. Of COURSE there will be spankings... and floggings... and wrist cuffs... and big wet birthday kisses... and... and... and...

got ahead of myself there. apologies around the room. Thanks, guys, for the birthday wishes. This is already better than last year, which I spent at home, broke, hand sewing halloween costumes (i didn't have a machine yet), and alone.

Nice... ummmm... outfit, Guenivere. Happy Birthday, Sweetie... and Tisha... your hair is stuck up in the air on one side... I think I can tell which side you sleep on.

I've been in California, watching my brilliant daughter just tear up the stage in Proof. She was great. Took a tough roll and carried the show with it. Dad is more than proud... Dad is having a hard time walking through doors because my head doesn't fit.

I need to get my set pieces polished for auditions. Need some head shots, too. .... a little head wouldn't hurt, either.... Shut up....

Is there a drink you can recomend that would shut this little fucker up?

She's 26 and absolutely gorgeous. She's very talented, but more importantly, she is aquiring the skill it takes to take someone else's words (on stage) and make them your character's. Not as easy as it may sound. I would love to direct Proof with her in it, and me as her father (a small, but important, role)... and I would love to do Lion in Winter with her younger brother as Geoffrey and myself as Henry.

You are correct... however, one of the benefits of this cold is that I DON'T NEED EX-LAX!!!

It's the thought that counts, though...

Samtzu:

you direct? Wow. I'm an actor, dancer, singer... I also do set and lighting design and construction, as well as costume design and construction.

Just finished recording the original sdtk for a show I was just in: a new rock opera written by a man here in seattle. It should be mixed and ready for public consumption in a few weeks... that's very exciting...

Happy Birthday GE

I will let you borrow Tisha for today but then she will need to be returned in working order. ;)

Everyone cross your fingers for me. I just got back from an interview. I think it went well.

Oh and a round for the birthday girl is in order....

Black Forrest Cake

1/3 oz. Irish Cream
1/3 oz. Kahlua
1/3 oz. Cherry Brandy

Layer and shoot.

Thanks geekster! I was wondering if you'd be showing up here...

I try to stay off the decom for singles thread... I get too hot under the collar to say anything logical... if I stay at a distance, I can just call it all silly...

thanks for the coffee Sputnik... thought you'd forgotten about me for a minute there...
