Hey y'all

I just wanted to let you know, in case there are others out there, in the world, dealing with what I couldn't seem to find ANYWHERE...

I have had the most fucked up nose for the past three and a half months. I was pickin' it, rubbin' it, filling it with Neosporin and Vaseline to chill it out, and no dice.

Finally I went to the doctor today..turns out the alkali hitting my septum created some sort of FUNGUS !!!!

So now, finally, finally...finally...I am treating it with this antifungal cream.

So if you've been pickin' and blowing weird shit out of your nose since the Burn..GO TO THE DOCTOR, OR IT WILL NEVER HEAL !!!

And now you know why people recommend masks of different kinds, regularly blowing your nose and using saline solution nasal spray to help clean out your beak.

As a rule, if some part of your body is suffering any kind of irritation or recurring problem for even a couple weeks after the burn, go see someone!

We haven't changed or implemented anything. If you're seeing something in your browser, it might be time to run some kind of scanning software.

The playa dust is made up of one time living things..
It may have been dehydrated for a few years.. If it enters a warm moist environment it will rehydrate like food/meat stuff.. Then it will begin to rot. One of the advanced stages of rot is mold.. Then you wind up with a moldy rotten nose.
The right type of mold that attaches it's self to the rot could be deadly.. Wear a fucking mask..

Much like the OP, Dougly, you have been stricken with a condition that requires a remedy. How appropriate you'd post it here.

My husband had that at one point. We seem to recall it being a Chatzum virus in the browser. Try googling it for removal instructions. Again appropriate to the subject: it won't get better on it's own. (but we recall it to be a relatively simple fix)

Hi, thanks for posting your experience with playa nose several years ago. I developed a massively inflammed red sore nose (over several days) after a dust storm with swelling around my eyes. The swelling around my eyes has gone but my nose is still inflammed despite regularly rinsing with saline. Did the anti fungal treatment work for you? Is there anything else that can be done to get rid of my nose inflammation? Thank you!
