Something you should get used to seeing from me. Except I am pissed Torre did not put in Rivera until it was almost to late. Rivera you could tell was still off his game.
But now back to your regular bar festivities.

Arrrgh, I sould be in the FUCK thread ... but THIS is what is REALLY bothering me tonite ...
Someone at work developed a web sipder and has been using it. Trouble is, as any of you that are web admins might know, there is a file called robots.txt that spiders are supposed to honor as far as access goes. This spider never looks at that file so it goes pulling pages that the admin of the site doesn't want spiders to access. Well, MY NAME is on the network registrations for this company so I am getting the hate mail and I can't convince the company that they need to stop their spidering and fix their shit. FUCK!

I will take half a bottle of Jamesons, that bucket of ice ... and a liter of your best water, please. Oh, and a new email address. I fucking hate it when I get top tier internet sites emailing me telling me what a dumbass I am ... when IT ISN'T ME! FUCK ME TO TEARS.

SHOCK!
I just found out what the Pez-beta thing is.
Macromedia is beta testing a new product called Pez. Not only has macromedia put me on their beta testing list, whom ever it is that set up the list for it fucked up. it looked like spam.
As it turns out there are some pretty neet IT and programming geeks and companies that are complaining about the list but once I read it it's been awsome for me. I get to check out these companies that are complaining's software out and have come across some pretty good shit.
Oh and about that sports bar thing.......anyway there could be room here for a geek bar thing? I wanna get my geek on.
Can I have a coffee something suprise please?
Thanks.

Hey, geekster, i'm an XNFP. any surprise there? nah, didn't think so.
So last night i hauled out my baby, my viola, for the first time in ages. spent an hour and a half with it. pure magic, you know? it's so hard to take the time for it because of how much energy it demands. of course, the more i need energy the more i need to play it. i was so fucking centered when i finished. course, i could barely move my left wrist (from having it curled into high positions) and this morning i'm sporting two good bruises. but it was one of the best things i've done in ages. like visiting old friends (and the occasional enemy!) and flying and trekking all in one. like making love. damn, i knew there was a reason i've been doing this for twelve years.
also went down to zaina's for some backgammon. there were these persian girls there.... well, persian american.... friggin annoying... loud and just plain sleezy. though it was really funny when one girl said that Persian girls have tight pussies.
he he he....
are most girls in my age group like that???
fuck!!!
anyway, now i no longer *need* a drink.

Wow ... sounds like that viola was just the medicine your soul needed! I was so totally blown away by the Myers-Briggs stuff because it seemed to have me pegged so well. Some of the things I had been trying to find a way to express for a long time. I was pretty skeptical and tested several different places and they all came up the same so I got a little more confidence in it. And when I have pointed others that I know to them, they seem quite blown away too by the result.
I don't know how all girls in your age group are ... but I know why those Persian girls think they are so tight ... it's overbearing Persian daddy's guarding their daughters with barbed wire and landmines!
Keep playing that viola ... it is obviously good for you. Take the time, do something for you. Lately my kick is ancient philosophy. I am rereading Plato's Republic. It just fascinates me how people in the 5th century BC could have these thoughts that ring so true even today in may cases. Well, that and if original thought is important to you, it is best not to "come up" with stuff other people already "came up" with a couple of thousand years ago.

Good morning one and all!
Thanks again for the kickassed birthday party in here yesterday. Now, let's just remember that ANY day can be a celebration, and let's not let those cuffs go to waste up there.
Coffee, si vous plait.
(and what's up with this place turning jocktastic while I was out celebrating? Huh? Huh? As the official cocktail waitress around here, I'm taking down these pennants right now...)

Geekster,
sorry to hear about your work stuff. If I had the slightest clue how to decipher what you were talking about, I'm sure it would make me even MORE empathetic. (this grrl is a technopeasant.) Still, I'm proud of you for the 'tick on the ass of the internet' comment. You definitely get points for originality on that one.
