Good way to get settled in to watch the 49ers play Green Bay.... a nice drink with a couple of lovely ladies! Weather here in the low 50s but clear and sunny! Would love to know more about your art project, MDF. PM me when you have the time.

Sorry to hear about the camp drama, winebuff. *pours shots* Decisions like that are never easy ones to make, but it's far better to make that call and tough it out now rather than have it negatively impact the experience for everyone in the group.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
56 in Toronto? I was in a seminar all day, and when we broke for lunch, it was sunny and a whopping 37 degrees in Sacramento. At noon. I think the high was in the low 40s.
Now I'm way sleepy; hate having to wake up and drive to an 8am class. I usually get up somewhere around 11. Or noon. Trilo "& I haunt the bar in the wee morning hours...
Wish I was going on the party train, it sounds like so much fun. But I will be in Ventura this next weekend for a Retrofrolic planning meeting. Which should be a blast.

Good morning sleepy ones...
thumps ECM
Ten degrees here. Ugh. Sun should be up soon. I'm always awake early anymore, and the stupid CO detector malfunctioned at three. It has an alarm when it dies as well as for fire, low battery, and a run in its pantyhose. Damn thing.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Thanks for the cuppa!
It's been under zero for several days now. I am getting tired of it.
Having to work out in the garage in this is, is really hard on the arthritis.
I wish it would snow more, it's warmer then.
Ya, Figjam, my pipes are ultra taken care of. I didn't like the way
they were done when I moved here so I reburied the ones coming from the street deeper,
and extra re insulated the ones in the outer walls.
You should't have this kind of cold on the norm. Don't blame you for not wrapping.

I've got my undersink cabinets open and run water now and then. The cold water is soooo frigid!
I may bake maple cornbread today, and maybe blue cheese quiche. Warm up the kitchen.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Frost on the roof of nearby homes here this morning. Probably won't get up past 50 today. BRRRRR. Hope your pipes are ok FJ. Can't handle that kind of cold anymore Anti M. Gonna try to hit the tennis ball this morning. It gets warm pretty quickly once you start to move about a bit. It is overcoming the inertia that is the challenge! Hmmmmm, maple cornbread sounds delish.

Morning all. 22 degrees here in Oregon and some snow on the ground. Purdy....AntiM, can I have a piece of your bleu cheese quiche pls? Omg, that sounds awesome! Trying to be good on a healthy diet and get into shape quickly. I have 12 days to do it, lol
Re: The Bar, Volume #4
hmm, thinking the pouring operation is taking up a lot of time here. I'm working on a dip basket full of shot glasses, and a well of libations.

coffee will continue to be poured piping hot one at a time, I don't have an idea for that yet.
Who knew paypal had a lifetime cap? After 4 years, I reached it with my last purchase of replacement hubcap covers and in order to process the payment, they need me to either 1. give them my bank routing info. or 2. apply for their 19.99% apr, "bill me later" program. stinky.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Yeah Elorrum, there's a cap on transactions involving unverified accounts. It's a safeguard they've used (for more than a decade) to curb scammers and people using it for illegal purposes. The good news, verifying your account is generally painless, and won't lead to black helicopters or riot squad goons breaking down your door or any of that stuff. We don't do their credit card thing, but use paypal pretty regularly otherwise - for us it's been a pretty good experience and their customer service has been above average. Hopefully they get you sorted quickly and everything will be running smoothly for you in no time.
Had an early and tasty start to the day otherwise. Cooked up 4 pounds of thick sliced applewood bacon this morning *passes around plate* and then made a couple pans of hash browns. I'm bouncing around between a few different projects around the loft today while the girl continues working on her spectacular outfit for the Edwardian Ball.

Sunshine this morning. It is almost warm outside. Comparatively speaking. Ran the furnace for about 25 minutes then opend a couple of curtains on the sunny side of the house and it is staying cozy at about 65 degrees.
Cold pizza and coffee for breakfast and now I am here at work. Looks to be a good day so far.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Foggy and damp all day. Spared me the much needed yardwork so the neighbors will have to look at the jungle until the next warm weekend. Was going to the theater this eve but - niece stranded by canceled flights at Dulles airport, pick her up along with her school chum, bring to my house, son comes to visit his cousin, then I drive north to hand the girls off at the Delaware state line to my brother who will drive them the rest of the way back to college and the classes that start tomorrow. Ejukayshun's important, young'uns.
And my son is nice enough to bring me a bottle of wine
Bulgarian wine
so I can either remember
or maybe forget
the Bulgarian Love Monkey.
His girlfriend asked him not to do it, but I appreciate his evil humor.
Way to go, boy. The wine is actually pretty good.
Cheers!
And last night a beautiful woman slept with me.
But we were at the movies, watching "Lincoln". Had to poke her in the ribs when she started snoring.
Good night, ladies and germs, that's all I got.
