Thanks MDF.......sorry for the yuky weather. But, aren't you guys having it pretty mild back there this year?
Hi AntiM! yeah, gotta watch those lungs with that cold......I was seeing the cold bubble of air over us, heading your way. Not sure if that'll change anything for you.
Hi WB! coffee and eplaya in bed.......how do you get so lucky?
I'm heading to look at more work in one of the historic cemeteries in a state park in Coloma today, where gold was "discovered" in Ca. Gotta be some cool old work there.

Oh Yggy that does sound interesting! And Winebuff, how luxurious!
Keep your lungs in the warm and moist for at leaast a few more days, AntiM; be nice to yourself. Pie sounds perfect.
Our weather here has been way too warm for the time of year; makes me fear we will have way too many bugs come summer.
And in the meantime it is very dark and dreary out; looks like the end of the world.

Gorgeous sunrises here these cold wintry mornings. Had to pour hot water on the windshield to melt the frost/ice. Should warm up into the low 50s today. YG is always doing something interesting. Take the time to heal, AntiM and save a slice of pie for me. Pretty cushy WB. Sorry for the gray weather, MDF, but with your sunny disposition, I'm sure that you blow it away for everyone!.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Hello, bar! Looks like a quiet day, hopefully everyone's been busy doing fun things. I spent a chunk of the day working on web stuff for my camp. Aside from wanting to update with content for our new project, I'm migrating it from a site created on one platform over to something created on something new. I'm liking the new app a lot, but it sure is a lot of tedium. We had a great meeting with the newest core member of our camp last night, and my mind is racing with ideas for art projects…can't wait to get started on that. Tonight we've got a dinner/drinks meeting with a couple other core members, the last of the one-on-one presentation meetings (whew). Just grabbing the last of my notes and reference images and sketches, after I make myself a drink. This is thirsty work, don'tcha know! Who else is drinking?

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
sounds great, Trilo! you do so much for your camp.......they're lucky you're there!
I'll drink with ya.
I went to a gold rush era cemetery at Coloma today, to look at some repair work they need. It's a state park........so, dealing with them can be "challenging".....the curator and restoration gals are great, but the bureaucracy to get paid.........
but oh the art work!! some of the most beautiful carvings I've seen! If I get the work, I'll take some photos for anyone interested.
So much needs doing there; not only the ravages of time......but foogin vandals, of course vandals. Jeeze.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Thank you kindly, Yggy. My campmates are awesome people, I'm honored that they let me play art director and lead the charge on our increasingly nonsensical adventures. This should be our best year yet, I should have the site and a thread on the theme camps board to go live soon.
Dinner and drinks was wondrous, with the exception of an injury poor Pandorra suffered. A clumsy little slip as we crossed the street, she tripped on the curb and faceplanted on the sidewalk. Well, not quite that - she broke her fall with her hands. But some scrapes, and quite a bruise on her poor little pinky. It doesn't seem broken and she doesn't want to go in to the doc, but it swelled up pretty good even after putting on ice.

Oww, poor Pandorra. Hope she feels better soon. Scraping up the hands means you think of it every time you touch something.
