Aka Puppy, or Smelly Cat.
Larry was a rescue as a kitten. He was extremely ill when we got to him, and was definitely marked by his life before finding us.
He can't be in contact with other cats without risk of contaminating them
Stress causes him to sneeze uncontrollably, and go quite wonky with facial tics
About half his teeth have already fallen out. The vet says they're all doomed no matter what we do.
He's got brutal breath. Brutal.
But he's the best cat I've ever known.
Loving, friendly, open and calm. Unless it's crazy hour. Or time to play ball.
Spends much his life looking down on the world from one of his many perches.
Loves typing.
Actually loves doing ANYTHING you are doing. He's a wonderful “helper”.
I really hope he sticks around.....

looks like a fun bunch!Sunbeam56 wrote:Too many stinky damn dogs.
Ummm... not exactly "we" and not exactly a planned "cure". The real story is a little weirder. We were worming the horses. To do this we just squeeze the wormer paste onto a piece of wheat bread and the horses devour it. All except for one horse named "Mattie". She is old and smart. She took the bread in her mouth, smelled the paste, and promptly dropped it. Rae runs over before we could grab it and she eats it. With the wormer. Down the hatch!Sunbeam56 wrote: Then she developed mange, which we cured with horse wormer.
That is actually a very sweet sentiment.Sunbeam56 wrote:So, you may have noticed that I constantly insult pets. That's because they have short lives. You love them so much, and then they die.
If you don't constantly remind yourself that they have faults as well as virtues, you won't survive the pain.
Too many pets, too many deaths.
Ha, gave Frida the command to come tonight but my wife has been doing the lion's share of the training ... frida looks at her with the exact expression:Sunbeam56 wrote: T has trained him, and he is obedient to her.
He ignores me, unless T is off, and then he wants to sit and sleep on my feet.
Great photos, it's too miserable here to set foot outsidemgb327 wrote:Hard to believe these photos with the bitter cold we have here right now. We all miss the pond in the summer.

Poor dogs are itching for a walk
I'll take them up the Mountain tomorrow and get some shots
What type dogs are they?
OK cool, I was wondering, I mentioned earlier I thought stinko looked similar to dog in Mad Max and now I get the connection.mgb327 wrote:My two are brother and sister Blue Heelers, or Austrailian Cattle Dogs.
