I have posted four shots on the Gerlach thread. (Trying not to commit the sin of double posting.) I lightened them, but I think it will be difficult to see faces -- there just aren't that many pixels.

What a great party! Thank you Doc... And thanls to everyone else, as well.... It was so nice to see everyone.

We're just returning from the playa, which is covered in snow. Afterwards we stopped for raviolis at bruno's and they were sooooo good! Poor triken wouldn't eat them as she is a vegetarian, she had to put up with all of our yummy sounds.

Had such an awesome time with EVERYONE!!!! I was so hung over/lethargic I just laid on tv watching the couch.

Hay gang, back home here in Newcastle safe and sound. It was the best Amtrak party we've had in years. Jesus did we drink on the train. And snowball fights? And let's hear it for in-room Jacuzzis, absinthe, Yggy and Red/Twist who so unselfishly gave up their rooms (and huge in room Jacuzzis which I really needed thankyouverymuch) Moonrise, Pinemom, Tinkermom, Winebuff, MDF, Risky, Killbuck, Triken, Winebuff, Blowfish, Harmony, Littleflower, and on and on it goes. Say what you want, but we really know how to have a good time. Unfortunately I became a little "green behind the gills" about 1:15 and decided to live to fight another day. And boy was it ever a fight! Brunch at Harrah's was great, champagne flowed freely (and we drank freely).

I love you people. I am humbled that so many of you gave me credit for the fabulous party, but in all fairness, I was only a participant and not an integral part of the logistics. Yggy and Twist, who so generously gave up their luxury suites so we could, dare I say, get fucked up (absinthe is your friend) should be the ones who get your praises. Without them, who knows what would have happened?

And I have only one parting word: Pineapple.

dang........what fun!! I'm just home from Reno. Nothing like pulling an empty trailer over an icy summit at night with grooved pavement!!

But well fed at Bruno's I'll say. Say what you want, those raviolis are so dang good. I'm not sure I've tasted sausage like that. Or whatever the meat was. You know it was good when you can still taste it hours later when burping, and have heartburn.

What a great time! I sure we can do it again and even more folks show up from eplaya!!

Indeed, there were hijinx. and yeah, funny how when I got to my room, the bed had what can only be described as a big seatbelt all the way across..........but, it was great for leverage.

Glad the security guys who got to MDF's room, never came up........well that I know of, anyway.

I too must go on record as saying it was the best Amtrak party maybe ever. Had all the necessary ingredients: nudity within 15 minutes pulling away from the Roseville Station (what was that red head's name? She may have been with Laguna Del Sol, the nudist resort), the conductor acknowledging our liquor and only warned us to "drink responsibly" which I think translates to "drink copiously so you can have snowball fights after leaving Truckee while being a general pain in the ass and successfully seducing several of your mates on the train after it's been completely trashed", decent if not chilly weather in Reno, nudity in the Jacuzzi (and elsewhere!), Sunday brunch at Harrah's, Bloody Mary's at the Little Nugget, absinthe!!!, silly string, and wonderful company. Really, maybe the best Amtrak trip I have ever been part of. You guys missed one helluva party. Pineapple.
