I'm actually Capricorn but I put myself in the fire signs in the poll. I met an astrologer once who claimed that, to be accurate, men should go by their sun signs and women should go by their moon signs. I'm a Sagittarius moon, so...

Though personally, my prevalent belief system (roughly Egyptian pagan) has a moon god (Aah-Djehuty, aka Thoth) and a sun goddess (Sekhmet). Conversely enough, they consider the mostly-stable and predictable overarching sky as feminine and the earth as masculine. Take a look at mountains and you'll understand

P.S. — your moon phase is waxing new. It's called the "Fingernail Moon" because it looks like that bare little white crescent at the leading edge of the fingernail.

We'll have the same moon at the end of next year's event.

Not that I believe much that the stars and heavenly bodies (unless its our hot playa ladies) because astrology was based on what could be seen and the truth is there is more to influence our watery bodies in what you can't see then what is seen.

Capricorn sun. I share a birthday with J.R.R. Tolkien, Stephen Stills, Zazu Pitts and

Mel Gibson...also one of my oldest friends shares a birthday with me, but she's a year younger. One of my classmates in high school was born in the same hospital at almost the same time I was (I'm an hour older).
I'm also nine hours older than Type O Negative's Peter Steele, counting for the time zone differences (I was born in Santa Cruz CA, he was born in Brooklyn NY).
Gemini ascendant. Geminis keep popping up in my life, many Gemini friends, birth-father was a Gemini, nephew is a Gemini, cousin is a Gemini, horse is a Gemini...

Ive heard that the time of day is important, unfortunately from what I understand the border between day sections is every six hours, and my eyewitness reports place that time at exactly 6:AM.
