It's an unfortunate side-effect of running any kind of first-come, first-serve sale on a high demand event. Even TM & LiveNation struggle during these types of events (it's one of the main reasons Burning Man went with a random selection process last year).

We're on a separate system, but also experiencing more traffic than is typical. Nowhere near our busiest (that was just before the 2011 event), but enough to make the Amazon cloud creak a little.

"First Come, First Served," online does NOT work. Especially when theirs a 200% certainty, that the numbers WILL overwhelm the servers! If THAT is their future game plan, they need to, at least offer tickets to past burners, before the main sale! May I remind you, WE ALL make BRC!! Especially, through our wallets!
