2 credit cards?
2 credit cards?
Is it possible to use more then one charge card to buy tickets today? Gift cards have a 500 limit.

Ruh roh!
I would venture to say no, since the only option is to buy one or two tickets at one time. Once you're done with the purchase, you receive confirmation and are kicked out.
However.. can you get back in line again for the second ticket? Possibly? Trilo?
Could you possibly run down to 7-11 and get a pre-paid card.. not a gift card.. and pre-load it with money from the gift cards to purchase both at one time? That's honestly what I would look into.

Pre-loaded cards? Are you sure?
Have you looked into the Bluebird card? Run down to Wally World and get one on the spot for free I believe. Use your gift cards at the register to charge it up. I know for a fact that there's no limit on those things.

You can use your check card too, if you have one.

You do not have the option of splitting the purchase across multiple cards, no. You can use a mastercard/visa debit card as well, but you may want to check with your bank to find out what your daily spending limit is (for most, it's under $500 no matter how much you have in your account), and to get an exception approval for your Burning Man tickets purchase. If you're using multiple pre-paid cards, you may want to contact the card issuer's support number to find out about the possibility of combining the cards (as well as to make arrangements so your high dollar purchase is approved).

Or paypaling the money to other ticket holders, to let them buy their own card. Getting the ticket is half the battle! No SPECTATORS!

Think carefully about that one. If the other individual hasn't pre-registered, they wouldn't be able to purchase. Also, when sending money to other people, funds may not always be available immediately. Banks are happy to deduct purchases in a nanosecond, but payments can often take days.

The system is getting better with each year and new ideas / better implementation come into play. Any event where so many ticket transactions need to happen in such a short time cause all sorts of issues. This would be simple and easy if the tickets sold in a month, but they do not. They sell in hours.
