Waited two hours watch our nook reader in Santiago Chile. Our turn came to buy and everything went perfect. Except they don't take Discover Card. Paid with debit card. Got'em.

Got my ticket about 2 minutes ago, and email confirmation. WHEW!

Now I'm gonna polish off that chocolate cake and take a nap.

I don't understand how people who logged in after I did (12:00:12) got their tickets already? I'm still waiting for them to check tickets, I've had no errors, just pure waiting. If I refresh will I lose my spot if I stay on the same browser?

Got in queue 14 seconds after noon - 25min later I had tickets! Totally stoked! Although a number of friends are still stuck in queue. I think it's luck of the draw to some extent.

dont quote me on this but im am 98% sure it read if you click refresh you place wont be lost. i don't know how it does it but im sure that's what it said. i had similar worries and just watch the ip numbers for a few min to make sure it was changing

I'm passed the que page. It looks like this now, without an IP Address. Still waiting...I'm gonna do it soon unless somebody says otherwise.

jscott26 - offhand, I'm not sure. You would think there'd be some kind of load balancing going on, so that even if one of the many servers involved stalled out, it would re-route the traffic. I'm not sure what to tell you - refreshing could cause you to lose your place, though others are reporting that they've done that and things worked out for them.

i got mine about 10 minutes ago after waiting in queue for over 2 and a half hours! hooray! hail satan! still haven't gotten my confirmation e-mail yet, though...

I was sort of freaking but they kept sending that goofy song and advertisement, I guess to keep the connection going. I only had to go back one time. Yea, if you refresh, don't know......

i had to hit refresh 3 times and i got tickets after a 35 min wait
i also follow BM on twitter and they have reported they are ironing out some kinks in the system

I got the following message when waiting after 3 hours. At this time Burning Man Tickets does not have any tickets available for purchase for this event. Note: This does not mean this event is sold out. Contact the venue to purchase tickets. I opened another tab on my browser and got back in the queue.

Yup, sold out. I predicted 1 hour and 6 minutes to sell out the 40k tickets. It took 3 hours.

Holy crap that is terrifying to hear! My mom keeps freaking out that we got in the queue at the same time (within 1 minute of it opening) and I got my tickets and hour ago but she is still in queue. I keep telling her not to worry and there's no way they'll sell out today.. but wow that got me nervous.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but I've been waiting since the start! That's 3 hours and 40 minutes. I'm in Ireland so it's 11.40pm now and I need to go to bed. Very disappointed with this system

A post on evilbook says the no tickets available message was a snafu. There ARE still tickets available. If you are in the queue, hang in there.

I would be surprised if it sells out within 3 weeks, though I have no idea how long the main sale is staying open.

Signed in at 10am here (noon PST) and took an hour and 17 mins. to get through. had to refresh three times. Didn't lose place.

This was a hell of a lot better then last year.

I'll be bringing more bottles of Bradduh Kimo (155 proof rum) to the bar again this year. Bartenders choice! You meet Kimo!

Still telling me I'm in the queue after 3hrs 51 min. We'll see.
So how many years has inticketing been at this?
Could we not at least know our standing in the queue? Or an approximate wait time so those of who are
working would not have to be constantly re-checking.
One of our party got through after about 30 min. Put in her credit card data and "finished" the transaction, then
got a message screen from inticketing saying that
"your session has expired. Please try again."
Really?
She has been back in the queue since.
I'll let you know if tickets come through.
