Aluminet. Won't stop all, but some. Anything that breathes will also let dust in.. obviously. So.. you'll need to find a happy medium.

DrawingaBlank's monkey hut was just a normal heavy duty tarp, but the way it was situated, it kept it nice and breezy but without the full brunt of the wind during a dust storm. Loved it.
He used the box truck as a bit of a wind break, and there was space between the ground and the bottom of the tarp. So the light breezes came through without a problem, but it was still solid enough to keep out the driving dust during a full on storm.

Embrace the dust. There is no escaping it. Dust is part of the ride...

If you're buttoning up your monkey-hut to the point that it permits no dust, you should seek out other structures. The monkey hut only works because it permits airflow through, and with airflow comes dust. A better solution is to just seal up whatever is under the monkey hut (e.g. the tent).

Monkey Hut in a nutshell BB Thanks! I wish I had read that sentence two months ago while practicing my hut!
