The Wander Ball needs your help (call for maps)

A picture would help — even a drawing. And some scale. How big should the maps be?

If this is just a fledgling idea, stop reading now and go brainstorm some more.



Still here? Ok. What about the wind? Won't it blow around? And then be damaged and fall apart and MOOP everywhere? Will you build it on-Playa? How?

ZHust, if you click on the tabs on her web site it pretty much answers all those questions except, how to keep the flower ball from becoming MOOP.

If its called the Wander Ball, will it just Wander around the Playa? Or is the "wander" part of the name because its made of maps?

I am calling it The Wander Ball because it is made from maps.

I plan to keep it from becoming moop by making it sure completely glued together and installed in a covered area that way it will be protected from wind and rain. I am currently looking for the covered area to install it , so if anyone has any leads that would be great.

The scale will depend on the the largest size square I can get from the maps. White printer paper makes a ball 14 inches in diameter.

I posted an image on the main page of the website of a ball made of maps that someone else made.

kinkos/office max/ and the like can print on larger paper at a pretty reasonable price.
Bigger paper = Bigger Balls?
