Low Income Ticket Program
Heads-up! The low income application process is now open! This program is intended for participants on a limited income who cannot otherwise afford a regular priced ticket. Please only apply for a Low Income Ticket if you truly need one. The program will stay open until Burning Man has received enough applications as they can review, so don't delay!
Go here for complete details and to start your application process. If you have further questions or need help from the ticket team, please see the links in my signature line below.
Update 4/12/2013 I've just gotten word from the ticket team that the low income ticket program is closing today. Good luck to those still waiting to hear back on applications.

It looks like the low income ticket emails are getting sent out. People are posting the images on Instagram. Do a search for #burningman2013. Lots of happy people.

Emails have been going out since mid-January
Re: Low Income Ticket Program
Trilo (or anyone else in the know), do you know if low income ticket applications are still being evaluated or if the tickets are all spoken for? My little brother submit an app but hasn't heard back yet. It'll be his virgin year and I'm wondering at what point I should give up hope on him getting a low income ticket. I want to make sure he gets in this year and I figure I may want to start hunting around for a ticket if low income tickets are gone. Thanks!

Re: Low Income Ticket Program
The program has in fact closed, and all the applications have been evaluated and reviewed. Of course, he should have heard back one way or the other - so if he hasn't gotten any response, have him contact ticketing support using the [email protected] email address and they can let him know the outcome.
