I thought that thing was a slot machine ... I kept dropping quarters in waiting for something to move ...

Heck, there should be a bunch of credits on that thing. Maybe you can win a free game.

Yeah, I like the glasses in the fireplace thing. One time ... or maybe 20 years ago ... I was living a little West of Boston. We were gonna have a party that lasted the whole weekend at this motel. I went downtown and bought this crystal dragon pipe. After the party was over on Sunday night we had this little ceremony and smashed it in the parking lot. It was fun.

oh, I guess the point was ... the pipe would live on like the party ... only in our memories ... or some goofy crap like that. We went in there on Friday night, turned the tv on ... turned the sound down, turned the colors up, cranked up the boom box and didn't leave until Sunday night. Actually, I remember when it was ... it was the same year that Dallas had this suspense thing going with "who shot JR" ... because Eddie Murphy did a parody of it ... he played this character ... JP who got shot at the end. And the show ended with the announcer telling people to tune in next season and see who shot JP ... and then Murphy pops up and says "yeah! Find out who fucked me up!" which was I think the first time they said FUCK on SNL.

I have a lot, of half finished projects I've been storing and moving and storing for years. I get to a point were I'm fine with giving up on ever finishing them but then can't see getting rid of the materials they are made of and move them again.

No No the Everclear was to use as an accelerant to get the fire going.
// takes bottle from bar takes a mouthful of the fluid and spits it past a lighter onto the bar chair in the fire place.//

Hmmm.... perfectly good booze, but hey, we have plenty of it and what do I care what you do with it once it has left my hands. Sort of like a gift, if there are conditions, it is not a gift but a shackle.

I saw first hand when we cleaned my Dad's house out after he went into the nursing home. filled a monster dumpster with some of it divided up some of it and sold some of it. I ended up with a lot of " family" stuff I now am expected to store forever. till I die and someone else has to deal with it.

my significant other is like that. She has boxes she hasnt opened for three moves out in the garage. I just so want to get one of those dumpsters and shovel all that stuff out of there. She would never miss it until it came time to move again.

You ever croak, just give this guy a call. You'll get top dollar.

Somedays and weeks you have huge energy and will get back to those things, maybe instead of croaking?

Some of the Family stuff is pretty cool but how often do you want to look at photos of relatives that died in the 1800s

on another thread I talked about the " inspiration/ transformation" experience of Burning Man being something that is still evolving in me. And I think I will get back to those projects or cut them apart to make something new.

That's cool. Cannibalize them just like you did the formerly "virgin" material they were made of. No biggee when thinking of it that way I guess.

You want anything?
