I saw somewhere...whatever doesn't kill you, just doesn't kill you

You know I used to embrace this philosophy to a certain degree...

But, I just went to lay down on my hammock and fell on my back into a bunch of blackberry thorns and cut my arm after three ropes broke, and I stood up and looked at my arm, and said that too will heal, and be stronger.

That's pretty cool.

That was my signature line here for a little bit here on the eplaya. We got pretty banged up this year. And that was the theme for our camp. My finger still doesnt work right after nailing it with a sledgehammer.

Only if we let it. And if we hold onto the concept that growing up is something we have to do. We can always choose to reach back towards that child, whether they were riding a water slide, a bicycle, a dust storm on the playa, or a new way of thinking.

So with that new way of thinking, after I sought the comfort of the hammock and got a rock in the back and thorns in my side with bleeding cuts down my forearm, am I right in thinking, that the experience includes another opportunity to grow stronger?

That the last ten times we used the hammock, it was my 4 year old in there, and it was good it broke under me instead of under her?

What are your thoughts?
