Indeed, it's cold as hell here in the Emerald City. Fall has decended upon us.

Thanks for the compliment on the stockings... I got them over the weekend. And, I just got my new corset in... I think I'll wait until tomorrow to wear it, though.

DJ, sorry to hear that you're not at 100 per cent... just sip on that Jameson's, and everything will be all better... if there's anything I can do for you, you just let me know...

I'd take a hot tottie, and while I'm getting my drink, I might as well get a round.... what does everyone want??

I don't trust any of those ground dwelling rodentia. Especially in CA. Carriers, carriers, carriers. And I ain't talking aircraft.

Typical "inclusive" barkeep. I come in with my buddies, all friendly, and they get the "back of the bus" rap 'cause they're different. Well, we'll be out beside the bar, by the picnic table, finishing off your leftovers. If any of you care to join us, we'll have the pipe.

Sure, fishy! I have some behind the bar--my own personal stash, mind you--of some slippery elm bark tea... very soothing. And here, have some licorice as well. Topical anisthetic (sp?).

Just that dammed winter tickle.

OUr first full day of rain. At least it's putting the forest fires to rest. Including, I hope, this one

Armed squirrels are the new black panthers. Left leaning. An ammo pouch in each cheek. Picking up all the nuts that fall by the wayside. Put down by the man - behind the wheel of a fast cadillac.

They're good customers at the bar. They pick up the peanuts you guys drop. They get a little drunk, blow off a little steam at the park, and then come back in for more. I think they're a little angry that they look cute. Just let 'em have a corner near the jukebox, they'll be okay.

You should tell that "someone" about the squirrels. They're recruiting for new prospects. They recognize cute and angry. Ask for one of the large vests. They sizes run small.

I ate a squirrel once. Don't know if I cooked him a little too long or too short because he was tough tough tough. Eric Estrada? You couldn't cook him enough.
