First we noticed an elderly gentleman who appeared to have nothing to do – just sitting on a rock. We waved hello and he waved back with a wide grin. Then we saw what he was actually doing. On a particularly bright green hillside grazed approximately 20 goats.

Clearlake may not be the best place in the world to live. But we never saw goats in Sacramento.

I'm with you lemur. I went ballistic when Coke changed the formula way back when. I think you should contact Keebler and let them know your displeasure with the changes. More chocolate/less cookie! A boycott sounds in order here as well. "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not gonna take it".

The funny thing about the whole 'new coke' thing that got everybody in an uproar in the 80's was that is wasn't anywhere near the first time that they'd changed the formula (and they've changed it many more times since). It was something like the 12th or 13th time, and the 3rd in like a 10 year span. And it wasn't even the biggest formula change they'd made, they had already switched to HFCS by then if I remember correctly. The suits at coke had been freaking out about losing share and being perceived as old and stodgy in comparison to the pepsi generation, so instead of the usual silent formula change they decided to make a marketing event out of it. Hilarity and hijinks ensue.

Sorry to hear about the cookie swindle, lemur. I hate it when they do that stuff.

No big plans here, Yggy, we do our best to avoid most default holidays. More work on 3D stuff. Also tinkering around with new design for the ziggurat I've been tossing around in my head. Loud music. Drinking heavily. Make a table for behind the couch. I also want to work on getting some tools organized - we've got a great rolling cart to hold everything, but over time stuff gets spread out, and the cart's been getting used to store stuff we never use. If I can get it sorted then we'll spend more time making and less time digging around trying to find which bin or cart the tool we need has gone off to.
