YG!! That is brilliant. My new career Paddlemeister. Firm but gentle..... But first :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

My son Ben is coming by today. Always love to see him. Nothing extravagant, just hanging out. Feels so good. He's helping his mom with an art project before he comes by here.

Exploratorium getting close to its opening. The new site at Pier 15 on the Embarcadero is really amazing. It will be a major tourist attraction in the Bay Area and really worth the time to visit.

Carpe Diem!!!!

Carpe Diem indeed!!

Love to all you lovelies out there in lovely land.

He kept it hid And so did she.

Then passed right by- And never knew.”

Good Morning Bar! Delle! Sweety! nice to see you!
Oh so neat, MDF, and you got the grill attachment as well.
I was years ago coveting a stove called a sierra zip stove (titanium version) that had a battery powered fan, that ran like a little blast furnace.
but it didn't generate electricity...
I am doing a big gear assessment to get rid of the excess, but the stoves, well, it's almost like my toy collection, and not ever using some of them doesn't motivate me to get rid of any.
most recent:
Image
oldlest but I've never used it. Tested it, and it works. Belonged to the father of a friend, who took us backpacking in high school. Optimus 8R clone
Image
and my favorite, alcohol stove, quiet, double boiler, easy to tote the finished product to potlucks without spilling.
Image
Oh, do not ask, “What is it?”
Let us go and make our visit.

I so know what you mean, Elorrum!!
I've got a couple of these:

and other assorted similar, as well as larger white gas and propane models......hah, and never use any . but, sure love 'em when someone is just gonna "throw it out".

white gas lanterns, too.

an old shiny SVEA stove is still on my list of early gear coveting.
and to change the subject...How would people feel about roasting marshmallows that looked like little gingerbread men?

Fun to have a collection, Elorrum. You never know when you need to cook up something, but I'll bet you primary joy is in having these interesting little machines to tinker with.

Friend of mine has an assortment of antique typewriters, each model connected to a famous writer.

MAN SMORES!

With ginger marchmallows we could use caramels instead of chocolate, hmmm, those would keep better...

 add  bacon

 bring  to  M&G

Good rain here last night and now things are still a bit on the damp side. Methinks the tennis balls get a reprieve this morning. Nice to have a "take it easy" morning for a change. Morning AntiM, YG, TomServo, Knownmad and FJ and any lurkers out there. Bummer, I missed Delle yesterday!

Have a great Sunday, kiddies

Morning, YG, 420 & AntiM. Hell of an intro this morning, YG. I'll have what he's having! We have rain here this morning as well and it seems, so has the Playa. Should be a well packed good surface this year with all the rain and snow out there. Well, here it is a Monday once again and another week closer to home.

Gotta run, kids. Have a great day
