2013 Is well on it's way! I'm so excited to stay at BDV again this year!
Only a few more months before we'll be going home
I read some are staying at the Sands before heading out to the Playa. Anyone staying at the Sands after the Burn?
I did last year for a couple of days and it was pretty fun! It'd be nice to decompress with more members from BDV this year

Kevin, the March newsletter is due out late next week. I'll mention in it about the Sands (by then we should have the BDC&WB Hotel Deal worked out) post-party and see who jumps in. And for any of you who are not Barbiebarians but would like to see our brilliant newsletters, PM me with your email address and I'll add you to our list.

Re: Barbie Death Village
Now that you mention it Doc...
Last year I made a little holliday video from my stay at Burning Man and Barbie Death Village. It's loaded with crazy Barbiebarians
As a result I have a couple of friends who got inspired to make the journey home this year. None of them are from Belgium tho so they won't be flying in with me or anything.
The good part is they all secured a ticket! The bad part is they are still looking for a camp to participate with.
I told them I'd put in a good word for them. I say signing them up on the newsletter is a awesome place to start!
I'll PM you the email adresses.
PS I met with Hille (or Godzhille as I named her) a few weeks back and she seems like a worthy addition to our little village. Fun gal! Likes to drink and go nude so HEYA!

Can you believe they stole my hat when I went camping in last januari?
Never trust the gays I tell ya. One skinny dip in the jacuzzi in my hat was gone! Could be the dog that left with it tho...
Alas! At least now I have more reason to buy awesome new hats!
Hye Hille!

Re: Barbie Death Village
We have made it to the 2012 Black Rock Yearbook. Look for BDV on page 64! If nudity offends you, then don't go there.
Also we have secured a place to work on The Cloud Car! In Citrus Heights, less than 10 minutes off of I-80. It's the same place where Kara and Steve keep their mutant vehicle Gunther the Six-Legged Bison. Thank you Mary for allowing us to trash, uh, I mean use your property. We appreciate it.

Cops don't have much to do in Medford Oregon, I guess.

This is hilarious. Do we have a member of the group that lives in Medford? I live in Portland and yes you are right, Medford is a quiet town. Wish I could take credit for this

Okay is there some Barbie death cult I'm unaware of because this was just posted on my local town blog:
http://www.baristanet.com/2013/04/distu ... ound-town/

I'm upset that I didn't come up with it.

Now I want to do it too.
I bet no one would notice here though.

Re: Barbie Death Village
All I can say is that the person in Medford is a rank amature.
On another note, we had and then lost the place where we were going to work on our mutant vehicle, The Cloud Car. If anyone in the general Sacramento area has some place where a large mutant vehicle or two can be worked on over the summer (and we can offer a modest financial incentive if need be) please PM me.
Also, if anyone (this is especially true for you newbies) would like to see the April Barbie Death Village newsletter, complete with videos from the Naked Bike Ride & Pub Crawl and the ePlaya Meet & Greet, PM me with your email address and I'll have it out to you. WARNING: Some of the videos are very not safe for work.
