St Louis! I always feel that the City Museum there is about as Burner as a museum can possibly get.

"Hey, what if we made the basement into a bunch of caves?"
"What if we took this 9 story circular product chute and made it into a slide?"
"Wouldn't it be neat to collect all the neat edifices off buildings as they get torn down?"
"How about a crazy climbing rope scramble course thing that stretches along the entire side of the building and through a plane?"
"And maybe this massive hallway of mechanical gewgags and old iron sculpture stuff with a random bar in the middle of it!"
"And let's just throw a skatepark in there while we're at it."

The City Museum is one of my favorite places.

They also have a giant playground-ball pit, and just put a ferris wheel on the roof.
