Is there a line you Can cross at bm?
Re: Is there a line you Can cross at bm?
Yeah, it's not new out there. My Greeter a few years ago was dressed as a nazi. He was really into it. Saw him later in the week, still going for broke.

Re: Is there a line you Can cross at bm?
i have to agree with lemur, i've been upsetting people with Nazi shit since 9th grade when i was brought before my social studies teacher for writing a glowing biography of Albert Speer.
it didnt help that my last name is what it is, and that she was Jewish, but i wrote an honest, sincere paper, or so i thought.
i think it peaked a while back, and now i'm frightening people with so called Good Old American Racism, which quite frankly is just as appalling as any other nation's xenophobia or race hate.
we have honed it to a fine, subtle, yet obsequious nature, never really admitting to ourselves that it exists. ALL AROUND....every race hates on the others...every tribe notices the differences of the other tribes, not the similarities.
so yeah, you really want to push buttons, how about something close to home.
offer a PAIUTE STERILIZATION CAMP or a ASIAN DETAINMENT VILLAGE if you really want to get "gritty"...

Or "40 mules and an acre redemption camp." Humans are fucked up, in general...that, I've acknowledged. I find it hilarious how SYMBOLS offend more than the actions behind the symbol. I think it's more cowardice, to attack a "symbol", than have to confront the person that symbol represents. Not much offends me, but seeing neo Nazi graffiti on a bathroom wall always offends me! 99% of the time, the swastika is always pointed the wrong way!

Looking at things like stranger anxiety and Dunbar's number, I believe it's possible that some of it is biologically-based. Which doesn't make it any less wrong, or any less urgent to erase, but it may make strategy different.

I'm not at all surprised that a significant number of folks who draw swastikas on walls can't draw them correctly.TomServo wrote:Or "40 mules and an acre redemption camp." I'm really saddened that no one suggested changing the wording on the Daffy logo to "That's all volks".
Obviously I need to spend more time here.

Tried it..even in Blackletter. Doesn't have the same effect. Amerikans were pretty implicit in the holocaust...this is the cherry.

Did you try letterspacing the blackletter? (Don't. Pisses Goudy off.)

Would this work for you? It has a darkening gradient behind it so that it stands out against backgrounds. If you need it without the gradient I can provide that as well.

You do have to go with the Gothic typeface for something like this.

All I ask is that you darken the wings to some other color besides white. Maybe gun-metal grey? Or even that yellow you used before. That way the text will stand out and be easier to read.
