Thank you! this has been a 22 year ordeal...ever since my dad sent me a letter with the daffy duck eagle design as a letter head. He made the original, but it was really crude...SaritaSyrah wrote:It's beautiful, Tom. Also, I am so entertained by where this thread has gone.

That's looking good! Now I'm going to be that guy again... With the wings still that great color (nice job!) could you make the swastika background white, or at least the center so that it stands out. There are three things that are supposed to draw the eye: Daffy, That's All Volks, and the Swastika. The first two are awesome, but the Swastika needs some love. Maybe even make the center of the swastika area white, and the outside wreathed in gold so it really stands out.

BBadger's meat cake is wiggling now.
I thought it was the wine, but no, it's him, he's really doing it.
That is a line I was not ready to cross.

At $1500/LOAD?
Better money spent on additional t-shirts, pataches and decals.

Added a cuff title. Wanted to do the "That's all Volks", but Ive been listening to Dead Kennedys a lot lately. Darkening the black part of the transfer..is looking good.

Re: Is there a line you Can cross at bm?
I'm obviously late responding to this, but I had a story that was fitting i really wanted to share.
Last year at burning man, the very first day, my friend and I were going to the port'o'potty and we were on foot so I was like you hold my stuff while I pee and I'll hold your stuff while you pee. Done and done, right? This girl overhears us and while i'm holding my friend's stuff, she says could you also hold my things? and i'm like yeah sure, except for THEN i realize that her THINGS are a ukulele and a Ku Klux Klan robe and so I was like WHaT The FUCK?! is this a clan robe? no way i'm holding that, you're going to have to pee on that miss!
it turned out that she was trying to make a Jedi robe, but she made the hood too small and the cut outs were unfortunate...so in her case, just a fashion fail.
but in the case of an on purpose nazi outfit - i personally am not a fan of it, but hey if there's anywhere to have a come to jesus about anything, burning man is the best place. I hope he's packing other clothes, because after like 4 hours of being called a douche bag and being spit on, he may want to try a different costume. curious to see what happens

Re: Is there a line you Can cross at bm?
nazi shit is fuckin tame..
you know whats more offensive than nazi shit at burning man?
-all of the people who bring value to burning man in the form of over 1000 attractions not being compensated for their work
-all of the people who bring value to the business of burning man, in the form of over 1000 attractions that bring ticket buyers from all over the world, being allowed no control in the stewardship of the community or event
-all of the people who create 100% of the value of burning man being forbidden from making money off of their hard work, to make ends meet, and to be able to come back next year (like black rock city LLC does) without the permission of the leadership who claims to be interested in 'communal effort undertaken together' (hey! theres always crowdfunding.. why not beg to make ends meet? attend our workshop on fundraising!!)
-that nobody here seems to give a damn about anything relating to commerce but how 'logos' and an 'RV' or a 'plug and play' will ruin burning man and that anyone bringing up the subject criticizing The Way It Is ..should just not be party to the endeavor, or is just a whiner, because "theres been commerce all along."
-that nobody seems to care that the real thing that will ruin burning man is our lack of a say in its direction, that nobody is even discussing what our role should be.. and our lack of control over anything whatsoever relating to the event is just fuckin fine, as long as we can still go, and get drunk, and party WOO HOO PARTY!!!
no .. people saying "offensive" things to rile people up, wearing costumes, no ..that isnt offensive.
as for crossing the line?! at least, the way ive interpreted some peoples opinions/actions...in some peoples mind: I JUST DID IT
(whats that noise...... did you hear that? "nope, i didnt hear anything" .....oh, ok!!! it must have been all in my head "anyways, moving along..")

(its gonna have to be discussed sooner or later)

Re: Is there a line you Can cross at bm?
tl:dr - You are not forced to attend such an awful, foul, evil event, it's one that you choose to attend, and it was this way before you started attending and it will be this way after. You want to make a change, then figure out how to get actively involved with the people who make the decisions. Ranting in every thread you can shove it in on ePlaya about it is as effective as clicking "like" on a charity post on facebook.
