I'm looking for a generator that can plug into our smallish grid of spider boxes. Everything runs on Hubbell 50A lines and I'm looking for tips on brands or places to buy generators. I know that plugs for companies goes against ePlaya rules but I think this is pretty harmless.
I'm looking for advice on solar powered walk-in fridges. I have a separate post about the fridge.

5 kw or bigger, I like diesel or propane. There are many brands. If you can afford it, buy the better ones, "industry standard" brands. in the long run, they are cheaper. But, you gotta have enough money to buy.

If I needed 5K, the Honda EU 6500 fits the bill.

Never a problem with my two EU2000 units in the past 10 years or so, despite the abuse.

Re: Tips on Buying a 50A Generator
It sounds like my best bet is still a gas 7000 watt deal like the one Token pointed out. I would ideally have something that is a little bigger but the price jumps really fast.... I'm so running a pure 110v setup. I really want to upgrade.
