Love that shuttle, Yggy, so cool that it gets to hang out at your place! And great pic of you and ED too.

Whew, today was pretty whirlwind. After a late night last night, I was up early this morning to take care of some virtual shopkeeper stuff before heading off to the workshop place I belong to for my second laser cutter session. The girlie came with, since she was taking her class and going for her certification on the shopbot. Afterwards she tinkered with one of the 3D printers for a bit while I printed up some of our favorite art poster designs from the last few years on the large format printer. Then we popped off to the pub for a pint and a nibble while talking about different projects, and then braved the hellish post-ballgame muni ride home. Once we got in, we dropped our stuff and headed back out to a nearby big-box hardware joint so I could pick up some lumber for the shopbot session I've got coming up on Wednesday. Finally home, time for a drink!

*stops in, pours a shot, and slides the Romulan Ale down the bar*

Had nice weather this weekend, a little on the cool side. Lots of yard work this time of year, but at least it is apparent when progress is made.

The shop you use sounds very cool Trilo.

For those of you who might be interested, there is supposed to be a meteor shower tonight, but the moon will up as well, making viewing them a problem.

Well, gotta work tomorrow,
good night all

saw some nice flowers in the yard this morning.
the wisteria, it really blooming nicely this year, and the "cascade" I tried to create with wire across the back, seems to be working. I didn't realize it'd climb so high. it's gotta be 50' up the cedar tree behind it, as well.

Hey YG, good luck in the car quest! The flowers are beautiful!!! We do a lot of business with the state and "hurry up and wait" is the mantra. We're waiting on a couple of contracts now and if and when they are awarded, it will be "we need it yesterday!!!"

Hi Marty.
we found a car, so yay. 04 Subaru Forester, with a factory new engine (DPO forgot oil). We got it for the price of the engine, so feel good about the deal. New tires, brakes, full service, clean inside, a few minor scratches and such, but not bad.

Off to find insurance now..............
