we share custody of our daughter (my oldest is not his) and a washer and dryer that reside in my house. his behavior in my house is an issue right now. trying to figure out a way around it...he seems to enjoy arguing about it more than finding a workable solution.

tisha2, it may seems as though you are not rid of him, but he is out of the house... think of it as an endurance "race" that takes a long time. Sort of like in 7th grade gym class & they made you run a mile?! The washing machine & dryer sound like an endless & possibly daily reason for his entrance into your life. Might you sell them & spilt the proceeds or give them to him or push them out to the curb or destroy them? Just a thought, eh.
Oh, and the neighbors thing.... maybe make that a long term goal.. like by next year you are going to move across town. Will help to see the light at the end of tunnel.. hope & all. As for emails, do not read them or respond. It may have been a "gift" that you lost the response you were going to send..... in fact, since that happened, let's just consider it a fucking gift from the Universe!

So there's this quasi-homeless guy that lives in my parents' basement in my old room (looong story, but he's acquired family now) and helps them out in return for room and board. He was downtown Ogden on his bike when a car pulls over, a guy jumps out and punches Marvin twice in the head. Marvin got untangled from his bike and asked, "What was THAT for?" And the idiot replied "Because you're black." Marvin popped him one in reaction and then they both just walked away after deciding not to call the cops, which the asshole asked if Marvin wanted him to do.
