Hooray for Simon heading west!!! Don't miss the Hof Party while you are there.
Yggy my dear, all the things you have built and a hot tub has never made the list??? How can that be.
Think of the beautiful red wood surround you could make with your leftovers there...
And Clyde would LOVE it.
Okay wait I need more

I sure hope whoever buys all Bruno's stuff keeps the name. It'd be jarring to drive through town and not see the familiar signs (I'm still getting over the lack of a giant Sully at Empire store).

Hi Trilo!
yeah, dang, what if they do change the name. Owing to the motel, and if they were to put in a convenience store, there are so many possibilities.
Hi knowmad!! well........why not try?
Today is the start of what may end up an ass kicking two more days. The concrete wall work the last couple was tough, but now, due to state scheduling screw ups, we're going to have to hand excavate 40' of old stone wall, that has settled and been buried in talus and detritus from the hill above, for the last 160 years, and re-set each of the several hundred pound stones to original location and orientation, so the original wrought iron fence can be re-installed.
they had given me a month to do this (I figured a few days to a week), and then, owing to someone's mistake, I now have 2 days. And, the other company that's doing the wrought iron work is coming from Boston, and it's not possible to change ............so.......dang.
the only good thing about this, is, if we can get it done, is saves the gals butt who messed up the scheduling, and may help me in future projects, as far as "favorable light and reviews" for saving her. I hope.
I know a hot tub and masseuse would sure be nice.........

Man that's one supersized brekkie! Thanks, Misa.
Feels like an ooky day. I was up a lot earlier than I wanted to be, then finally got back to sleep as the girl was heading off to work. Skies appear to be solid gray (as opposed to early fog that burns off). I've got a few things around the loft to do, as well as start work on re-designing a couple parts as well as start designing new parts for the curio cabinets and (eventually) the other stuff. And of course, because it's an ooky day and I'm not up for it, I've got to fight with the Windows setup to deal with various updates.

dang........wrastlin big ole sandstone blocks, after digging them from their resting place of the last century or so, re-setting straight and level, and all while being photographed and note taken, kicked my butt!!!
Hopefully, less than a 10 hour day tomorrow, and we might be done!!
Luckily, I had sharpened the shovels and chopping tools, so the roots and such were easier than it could have been.

sending massage bot over to ygmir.
I was working in the garage tonight. There's a lot of playa dust, I don't know if it's worth it to try to fold up dusty tarps neatly, or just buy more.
Getting ready for a garage sale on Saturday to jettison a lot of my mother's furniture and belongings. I sat looking at a lot of stuff, and wasn't very productive. There was a leopard hatbox filled with scarves she had knitted, and the big whammy was inside a beat up nylon suitcase... my fuzzy cov(er), my old blanket that was deemed too threadbare to use anymore when I was about 8? aw fuck.
well, I can see my workspace opening up again. It's been jam packed in there since last May.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Dust be damned! I say ignore the dust and look at the grommets. If the grommets on the edges of the tarp are still in good shape, keep it. If a few have started to rip and tear, it might be time to replace. We try to fold all the tarps neatly, but in the rush and subsequent shuffle a few always end up looking pretty haphazard. Dusty as they are, and wonky as the folds are, a good tarp's still a good tarp.
Sounds like a helluva day, Ygmir! I'm limping around a bit today too. While climbing around on the big shopbot yesterday I scraped my shin up something fierce. Stung a bit at the time, but man I'm paying for it today. Otherwise, my day was cushy by comparison. Did a lot of computer stuff, and managed to redesign a part for the big project and then design/model my curio carts.

Having a big BBQ as a massive birthday celebration for all my family here on Saturday. Everyone with a Bday in the first half of 2013. Should be lots of fun since all my kids a couple of grand kids fall into that time frame.
Getting late and gotta hit the sack! Night all
