BLUE BEASTIE on order......
Thanks, Tom! I took one look and was hooked!

Lots of Beast forums online too, along with mods to them!

Guess its time to sell off some of my other bikes to make room for the new!

Well 3 things acctually.

Makins of a "ChairyYatch" (chariot) for TinyMystic.

I'm really out of my depth here as I don't know anything about the controls, but that's never stopped me before!

It won't be boat like at all.

Just some bigger, wider drive wheels and some balloon like casters to keep it from getting stuck.

Something like these would be perfect, but they don't sell the parts alone!

Went RV shopping this afternoon. Had been doing it online but figured it was time to try it out in-person.
Currently bleaching my hair... Figured I should stay in-practice.

Clocks, did you add a crank-up roof vent on top of your rig?
Just wondering because thats what my camper has but on the front vent I added a vent deflector so that you can leave the vent up
and not have to worry about rain getting in in case you forget it up and leave.

I heard on the web-grapevine that all the bearings need to be disassembled and greased because the factory didn't grease them!

yes i put in a mini-vent (9") and it has a little crank (sounds like i'm talking about me - i mean about the little crank, not the 9"

)

i don't plan on leaving the vent open if i'm not in the trailer. i'm kinda paranoid that way
but i suppose a fail safe would be a good idea. i'll have to see if they make a deflector in the 9" size

Yeah, that's definitely on the menu. They do a piss poor job of packing too, but it all went together just fine. Things to replace on mine: Seat!, Handle Bars and possibly the pedals...they seemed a little stiff, but didn't notice when I was riding it. Rode just like a Cruiser, although a much smoother ride.

Pictures do NOT do these tires justice! They are HUGE! and..our apartment Does smell like a Tire factory.

Tom, is it the pedals that seem tight or maybe its the bottombracket thats overtightened with no grease?

Clocks, Im not sure if theres a mini vent cover to
fit your vent. I think camper vents are 14" square.
There would be a gap of about 2 1/2" inches around the edge
which would be ok because it would cover the vent
and even have extra coverage around edges.
Youd have to modify the brackets.

I can't find anything like those 4" rims and tires for a reasonable price anywhere (as expected). So I might have to buy two of those and cut them up for the wheels and bottom bracket/cranksets.

For wheelchairs, it seems that the idea of "fat" is more like 2". Which makes sense compared to normal wheelchair wheels. I have a feeling that specialized offroad wheelchair tires and wheels will be even pricier though.

Tested my bike this morning - little dusty but rides well. Bought all the PVC material for my Monkey Hut with the exception of the tarp. The Man burn in 108 days!

What I saw was that 15k on Craigslist or Ebay is about 38k at a dealership and what a dealer will sell you for 15k looks like what sells for 2k online.
My original plan was to make Elliot happy but life got in the way for a while and now my timetable won't allow for a schoolie build this time around.
Whatever it is, I will most likely be living in it for the next year or so.

The only thing at the dealership that seemed like a semi-reasonably priced piece of crap as opposed to the overpriced crap he was showing me, was one that had been owned by a handicapped person so there were certain mods like the bathroom (toilet) having no walls it's just there in the bedroom. Normally I would think putting up a couple of walls and a door would be easy, but being me I rub the fairly big and still sore knot on my forehead from where I walked into a door a couple of days ago and I think... you get where I'm going with this.
