Good morning, all!

I just had my morning coffee as I sit here thrilled about last night. I found out that the next season of "Longmire" on A&E starts on the 27th.

Walt Longmire has his morning coffee in a different way :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: , but I love Wyoming.

You're welcome.

While you're at it, you might want to get started on the eight novels about Walt written by Craig Johnson. Oh, and there's a new novel due out in June, too.

I put this up on a level with the Jesse Stone series, done by Robert Parker. Tom Selleck directed and starred in 8 made for TV movies that are really pretty incredible.

Good morning! Glad to hear you're improving, AntiM. It's a bright sunshiney day around here, though I'm still feeling a bit creaky and achey. Lots of crushing through projects over the weekend, both to get the first curio cart done in time for a meetup with some campmates, and also to get some art on the walls (still getting situated from the move). Most of it was just hanging the posters I'd printed on the large format printer a few weeks back, but there was also hoisting the big-ass Idea Deli sign up and screwing that into the studs on the wall near the inside entrance. Last night I got around to rigging up a temporary lighting solution (clamplight with a UV bulb), but later I want to get or make a little UV pin spot that I can point at the brain on the sign. I also spent more time yesterday revising my ziggurat design and making some new parts. Last night we zipped over to a nearby food truck park, my friend with his bacon bacon food truck finally has his new vehicle up and running, and we wanted to show our support (as well as feast on the bacony goodness). It was nice catching up with him and seeing his new mobile digs. He's also excited to make us a whole bunch of bacon jam for the playa later in the summer.

Today started productively (must be the power of bacon), I've already finished some stuff I needed to do for a neverending BRAF project I'm helping with. Next I've got to run out to our van and snap some pictures of the steel rack a friend of mine and I made a few years ago, another friend is planning on doing a new base vehicle for his MV and was thinking of going down a similar path. Then there are a handful of other projects needing attention today, but I'm feeling like I'll get through most of it.

"Today started productively (must be the power of bacon)"

Trilo, you hit the nail on the head with that statement.

Bacon is not just for breakfast, lunch, and dinner anymore.

getting ready for the road. audio books, sandwiches, coffee, gps. gas 'er up and git. I hear that highway calling me. I'm going to Shasta for a long weekend visiting a dear friend who wants me to redo her drip garden system. hmmm, when I say "do you have any projects for me?", I mean, things like, putting up pictures, fixing window shades... anyway, should be a nice time.
Everybody have a great day! Batten down the hatches Texans, my best thoughts for you.

Hooray for road trips, have fun! I've been up early working on a few things, mostly on re-working the design I have for the guard rail panels. I thought it'd be a bit more of a simple job of scaling and stretching a few bits from a design Pandorra and I made last year, but it's turned into fine tuning each and every point and curve and completely re-tooling the piece. The devil's in the details...

Good morning! :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: And hello Swampdog, nice to meet you... 8) Hope to see you at the M&Gt this year!

I have calmed my tooth down by not eating any solid food for 10 days so, am in no hurry to spend mass quantities of cash on it. My dear dentist sent me to a peridontist who now tells me I should see an endodontist, so, at least it's nothing immediately catastrophic. I will give it a tincture of time and see what happens.

More evidence that I am going to hell:

I was talkin to a patient on the phone yesterday, like we do during business hours in between emergencies, helping them find the right doctors for their rare diseases and etc. And please note we are instructed by our marketing consultants to "let a smile show" as we talk, though obviously we also show the natural sympathy and compassion of a Real Nurse, so, I tend to feel a bit schizophrenic in these situations... anyway I was asking this guy, "Which one of your doctors is referring you to [our big hospital]?... Can you spell that name for me?" and he's like, "Ummmm... wait a minute... I have a card here..." "Take your time, sir..." (I need to get back to my emergency cases, but oh yeah take your time...) "I'm cleaning out my wallet," he says. And then, I don't know what came over me, in a deeply sympathetic tone I told him, "Don't worry about your wallet, sir, I am sure our doctors will clean that out for you."

And that was it for me, I dissolved into giggles, deep sympathy be damned...

Ah, fuck. I will see you in BRC whether or not I still have a job.
