So, our application is in, we've got a (small) team, plans, tools, and a van ready to be turned into a kick-ass ship. What we lack is a good place to cut it all to pieces and weld new ones. I'm looking for leads on an LA-area space/studio/garage/share. If you have an actual space to rent/share that would of course be awesome, but I'd also appreciate any kind of advice or guidance. Maybe how you pulled off the finding-space project in the past? I'm a New York man myself, so I don't know a ton about getting things done in LA.
And (commercialism warning) we're not looking for a handout here -- ready to pay reasonable market rates/dues/what have you.
Materials, expertise and rides...whether you need them or have them to share, you can let folks know here.

If you haven't been in touch with your regional group, start by doing that. Sign up for the mailing list, and join the FB group. When you see/hear about people working on awesome projects, don't be afraid to reach out and ask if their workspace either has room, or if they might be able to recommend something. Go to events in your area and talk to people. Good luck!
