Sorry I've been slow to get on line lately. Damned Default life always causing trouble!

OK, so we'll add da'Fishy and Earthwalker to the roster. We'll do some wigglen of people around maybe move Triken to cashier then throw Fishy in at Greeter, or maybe Fishy in at cashier, Earthwalker at Greeter, and have Triken be the all around helping and assisting "Slinger-8".

Also, I'm still hoping that Elliot works Pusher with us... but if he has GP&E shift he might not make it. In which case we may or may not need someone else in the truck, depending on how busy things are.

I was a cashier last year, (not the best, but seemingly adequateAnd a Damned good one!!!) and would gladly give it another shot if allowed. My sweety, PlayaPoppa, is a real 'People Person', and would be a much better Greeter than I.
Let me know what you think of that... we're pretty flexible.

Or! Lets all show up at Ice Cubed on Tuesday August 27th and draw positions out of a hat?
In any case, I figure at this point we have just the right amount of folks, with a few extras to fill in any gaps or fill in when someone passes out from heat exhaustion.

Thats one damned marvelous idea!!! And we'll have enough folks that if Lucky and Fishist switch up Slinging and Greeting to Slinging shots, we'll have fill-ins!

I wonder if Ice is allowed to distribute alcohol to customers? I know they meet all the health code requirements for selling "food and beverages" but I wonder if there is extra requirements for booze? Or were you thinking just to the folks working and not the customers?

Elorrum, G-Dawg, and Triken are in charge of Dance Routines. Earthwalker, Asquared, and Puppy responsible for Costumes. SaritaSara, VoiceintheDark, and Cristina are in charge of music. MrPotatomoto, Tink, and BillyBoy are in charge of Lights.
Rather than Disney we're doing drinken songs- Red Solo Cup, Jin and Juice, Beer for my Horses, Colt 45, 5 o'clock somewhere, etc.

Once the alcohol burns out of the bourbon its pretty much useless though, right?

I wonder if you could drill a hole in a block of ice, then pump propane through the hole, and have a little flame coming out of the top of the block of ice?
I bet it could even be done real cheap with scrap grill parts.

Has anyone heard anything from Ice?

I saw an email the other week talking about having the new Ice Volunteer System almost online, that also mentioned logging into your Burner Profile and filling out the Volunteer form.
I went through the Burner Profile volunteer form, by clicking on Arctica as a department you'd be interested in volunteering for it added a few questions. After submitting the form, it said that "Ice would be in contact with you" or something along those lines.

Haven't heard anything yet on ice or from ice. I filled out the volunteer page on my burner profile too. Checked Ice and Greeters. Got my Greeters shift...weeeeeee
