I remember a post where someone has free camping along the way . He had opened his property up for Burners . Anyone have link to that post?

It's "Wedeliver", he's at Eagles nest RV Park, you might be able to google it. Northeastern CA, IIRC.

free camping in

national forest

hwy 299 cedar pass. just outside cedarville. multiple dispersed camping sites.

I'll be staying there Saturday night! It should be fun meeting burners I may know as well as new burners! wedeliver is a real nice guy! Haven't met his wife Barb yet!
Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.
