Me too. Then you could explain el wire and I could make fur seat covers with stuffed animal headrests.
That reminds me. I have to gut a lamb and give it to a friend for his bike seat. (Not a real lamb.)

Re: One Item for BM a Day
Over the last few months, I've been accumulating the parts to make 200 camera stabilizers...
they include various stuff...
consisting of very nice nylon cord, 1/8" and virtually un-tangle-able,
200 ring washers, 1-1/4" OD, 1" ID', inscribed with Copyright symbol and '[email protected]', (200 of them... the inscribing is the most tedious part of this assembly, and I have just over 30 done by now... the scribe is noisy and irritating... gotta keep my headphones on with Shpongle going, for sanity and inspirational purposes),
200 copper crimp sleeves,
200 ring terminals, tapped (today) to 1/4-20 thread, which is what all cameras' tripod threading is,
200 1/4-20 X 3/8 hex socket cap screws, stainless steel,
200 little drawings, showing how to use it,
200 decals of the MAN, made with love by my son, and long-time burner, Aaronious, and
200 little zip lock bags to package them.
Last year, I gave over 100 of these away before day two, except for the several saved aside for special people at the Meet'n'Greet,, and the comments from the various 'professional' photographers I encountered were enough to make me want to make (at least) twice as many for the next burn.
Looks like it'll be a happenin' thang!!!

The fun thing is they will run at double speed on 48v but the motors will burn out after a month or so of daily use.theCryptofishist wrote:Why the fuck would you do that?FIGJAM wrote:Found out that 24 volt wheelchair motors will run at half speed on 12 volts.
The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.

They can be converted for use as a power assist on a bicycle without having to carry two batteries.

Big patio umbrella for front deck of Land Yacht, yay for shade!
Plus $100+ in big "D" rings and hardware to attach to hull sides, so chaining to trailer isn't a nightmare anymore.
