Gosh, I wish! We're leaving on vacation in less than a week and the hubs decided that we needed to put the project off until we get back. But as soon as we get it worked out, I will definitely post some pics!Martiansky wrote:Cherryblossum, a shower room off the back of your monkey hut?! Very intriguing!
Any pictures by chance?
Fixed one tutu yesterday and I'm working on making another one today.

Well, I just realized I booked a flight for PM and not AM as I had intended. After freaking out for a minute, called the airline and was able to rebook without a problem. So.... THANK GOD I NOTICED IT!!!!

I'll have you know the General Observation Decoder is a real product that I got from a box of Urkel-O's cereal back in the 90's. My GOD delivers a painless but attention grabbing shock to my heart when I've made a mistake.

Re: One Item for BM a Day
kaicrown, Great idea and beautiful. Are they paper or plastic? Laminated? How big? Hanging from lanyards or necklaces? Stickers?
I hope you're making a few of each cause you'll never be able to decide or to find the winner later.

Oh yeah, I'll be making a bunch of each. Haven't really decided what medium to print them on. Lanyards sounds like a good idea.

Geospyder, you would like this deal I got for a battery powered 80 led light string for $1.99! http://www.ebay.com/soc/itm/160903214059 Usually they are not that cheap...and I actually think it's a mistake.

Thanks for the head's up - but I already ordered the one from Amazon. Basically it was free since I had earned some gift cards via some surveys I've done. I'll be heading to your state later this morning. My granddaughter is graduating high school this evening in Stockton.ohCarie wrote:Geospyder, you would like this deal I got for a battery powered 80 led light string for $1.99! http://www.ebay.com/soc/itm/160903214059 Usually they are not that cheap...and I actually think it's a mistake.

Re: One Item for BM a Day
Super cool, kaicrown!
. . . Yesterday I picked up a cheap 3-drawer bathroom organizer for my tent. I've used a wooden tv tray as a bedside table (cot-side table?) for a few years now, but its chief benefits have been that it holds anything off the floor at all, & that my wastebasket fits under it (which is cool, but not really a must). However, the tv tray's relatively small surface quickly becomes the depository for not just sanitizer & lantern, but Burner necklaces and saline, and a pump bottle of lotion, which is tall and gets knocked on the floor, etc, etc. Piles of stuff. Festive, but not very relaxing.
So I'm going to pack this 3-drawer thing the way I want to use it on-playa, with shoeboxes inside to help keep organized (lidded for travel, bottles laid down on top, bagged). Drawers taped shut with packing tape. When I arrive, I'll pop the lids off the shoeboxes so I can stand various bottles up inside the top drawer, do some momentary rearranging, and boom.

Re-sized my hat last night so it will fit on my head this time.

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.

Picked up 4 black "wife beater" tanks and two black tank tops. So now I don't have to go topless all week hahaha.
Started putting burn clothes in my duffle bag. Hope this prevents me front buying or making anything more then what I have on my sewing table

Re: One Item for BM a Day
I asked the wife if she would take a ride with me as far as Denver (where my oldest daughter resides) on my way to BM at the end of August and she didn't throw a shoe or anything like that.
I'll officially ask for the time off from work next week and then start taking inventory of my gear (I sat out last year) and planning in earnest.
Still my attendance depends on the situation with my sick Buddy.
