I met Roark at Flipside and they seemed to be having a good time. PawKnee and Peaches from the Austin group were there too with some home-brew mead. After that, the rest gets fuzzy.

At the end of the burn they gifted me their dome because it was too small for their playa plans. When I picked it up a couple of weeks later I met Sunshine briefly. We spent a couple of hours duffing around the hanger and I found out he has a thing for airplanes and old diesels. (While we were chatting his kid hacked my phone without ever touching it. Little bugger emailed me my contacts list before I had finished my second beer).

If you see a DC3 with Confederate Air Force markings at BM, it's them.

You're right: Clocksnmirrors usually posts more frequently, but he's been out for a week. I imagine he's on vacation or something. I do know he was planning to move West this summer or fall; maybe he's in the middle of that.

Not this year, when I saw the theme I really wanted to make it happen, but not this time around. I will be seriously jonesing by next year. Orphan burn at my place again this year I think, that helped.
It's going to be alright.
