I am trying to share my love with one of you fine artists. Perhaps others have felt like sharing their skills here to get paired with the artist that needs your specific skill set.
I would prefer to get hands on with one of these awesome projects and help to make it the masterpiece it was always meant to be. I live in Boulder, Colorado. I work in a theatre shop, as an architectural draftsman and project manager. I can weld and I can build pretty much anything out of wood. I can draft by hand and using AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup. I can paint in (likely) any medium and can edit using photoshop. I have a great eye for craft and prefer being a team player...
If you let me loose on your project, I will do my damnedest to realize your vision to its fullest, to pursue every avenue for material or spackle every damn screw hole.. if that's what you need.
I'm looking for someone who's going big this year. Who wants help?

http://spark.burningman.com/ might be a good place to drum up a collaboration or find others who could happily make use of your skills.

When he lights his streetlamp, it is as if he brought one more star to life, or one flower.
When he puts out his lamp, he sends the flower, or the star, to sleep.
That is a beautiful occupation.

Re: Skills looking for Artists in need.
I'm giving this a nudge over to Share Resources, since that's a better fit for sharing your resources (in this case, skills) than the fundraiser board. As BoySoutGirl mentioned, you should also look at posting on the Spark collaboration tool. You may also want to take a look at the list of Honorarium Art Grant projects as well as the other awesome projects that are posted on the Art & Performance as well as the Mutant Vehicles board. Look for something awesome, and check out where they're working. You may also want to get in touch with your regional group.
