35 year old male techie and maker looking to find a camp to join for 2013 or next.
Can do techie stuff, manual labor, and whatever needs to be done.

Have a look here and see if any camps in particularly look like somewhere you'd feel at home. If yes, write a few a detailed letter about why they appeal, and what skills you have, via PM or email. (Camps are used to people finding them, and so they don't usually go looking.)

Camping with a theme camps are not required, of course. (I have camped far more often with a friend or two than I have with a camp). If you can mercilessly stake your own tent and shade you're already a camp of one--you might simply enjoy the freedom of camping in unreserved space, meeting your neighbors, and visiting theme camps.
