A hofting we will go. A hofting we will go. Hi ho the derry-o, a hofting we will go. Looks good ygmir.
I got my foghorn kit in the mail yesterday. I think it's designed for a model ship. "generates a deep, noisy sound similar to the fog-horns of ships." That sounds about right. Tone frequency is adjustable. I found a good shaped funnel, for a bell. Could it be tuneable? Could I make a slide fog horn? a trio playing a chord? We'll see. Playing with that will be my reward today for getting other less liked chores done. I also have to find the bag of slow color change leds, and put them in the mini keychain lights that came a few weeks ago. That's been an easy gift, and this year, I'm going to bring safety pins, for handing out to receptive darkwads.
Yeah, I was one of two girls in jr. high wood and metal shop. I bless those gruff teachers almost daily for the things I learned. The other girl was there to meet boys and be fawned over, but she did learn to do stuff, and found abilities she didn't know she had. I'll give her props for that. I wish they still taught shop in jr. highs around here, it would make my job a whole lot easier. I live outside the plan I grew up with, but I didn't follow it much when I was younger either.
here's a neat little fella:
