one way or another i will be on the playa in 2014, which gives me loads of time to plan
i have read so much about the playa, yes i have read the survival guides etc
looking forward to going home to place where i can be me at last

Planning ahead, that's what we like!
Face to face, in-person connections in your regional, at festivals near you and by regional Facebook groups beat message boards on some information.
ePlaya threads on flying in, international, packing lists, costumes. Threads on how to find a camp, or this year's international campers wanted.
Ideas from other international travelers on where else they visited before and after. Grand Canyon, canyonlands, coast,...
Some people fly into Reno, but flying into SF, or another city that is the base of your new found campmates simplifies transportation and supplies.
