24' Geodesic Dome

Post by Dactylion » Thu Jun 27, 2013 12:38 pm

Firstly, I would like to stress that I am NOT offering the 24' geodesic dome that I built for the 2011 burn for sale! It was lovingly made from 3/4' EMT using a professional tubing crimper machine, giving the sections much-stronger-than-pounded ends. I built it for a friend and he will not be taking it back to the playa this year. The fitted cover is a heavy gauge white canvas "blackout" material that completely blocks sunlight from the interior. The reason I am posting here is to get an idea of how much something like this is worth, as I have no idea myself. Are there places that sell these things, new or used, so I can get an idea of what it is worth if I were to sell it?
