Re: The Bar, Volume #4
No its really not that far in distance but without a job I can't afford the fuel. Saving my nickles and dimes to pay for fuel to the burn and back
The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.

okay then I learned .. if you begin to rust
move chassis forward to avoid dust..and always have spare Tr's for parts.

*wanders in, makes CCC*
hey Triken!! I thought you guys were leaving early.....hahahaa. seeya later today? we'll have a good signal fire going, so, look above the road if it's dark. I'll put signs out, too.
Hi MDF!! Thanks for the fun wishes. and safe travels, to you! we'll be splitting some nice seasoned black oak for your stove, and if we don't get the bag full, I'll put chunks in that can be split on site. Splitting should not make much moop at all, not like sawing. And, if you use a chisel, even less moop.
Dang, GD!! wish you could make it, for the party and Ranger (really? a ranger?, I see you as Gayte crew, meaner, smarter, edgier......)

Yes, if you get to the hof after dark, wait for your eyes to adjust some, and look for the lighter glow in the sky up the driveway, and walk towards that. Do not be distracted by lights on tents, these will lead you further away from your goal. Walk towards the glow. "Don't follow the lights!"

Safe travels and best wishes for everyone going to the Hof. I'd consider it an honor if someone raised a glass in my general direction (to the east) and had one for me.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Bittersweet weekend. I'm finishing the primary cuts on ziggurat parts today (though there is still lots to do) and getting something akin to an honor at a thing this weekend, the timing of said thing dashed my hopes of getting to The Hof. Have a drink or three for Pandorra and I.
In other news, we got a new prescription for our cat's ridiculously expensive medication. This time it's a chicken-flavored drops thing (instead of pills), but to no one's surprise he's neither fooled nor amused.

I'm at the house alone tonight. Karine is out of town with family so I'm probably going to hang out for a bit here. In and out you know... as I go on adventures.
Damn a Hof party, eh? I've toyed with the idea of two flights to Reno and meeting up with people out there for a long weekend.Hi ho hi ho, it off to Hof we go!
