We are working on a SPAM Car. You'll see us on the playa - dressed as "mail men" (mail persons).

What would be wonderful is if Foxfur came up with a Spam themed stencil (Spam, it's what's for dinner? Keep Spam potentially fatal?) and you had an event where he sprayed on people's tee-shits...

No. That shit is disgusting. It is a vile dysynergy of fail that is an affront to both salted meat products. The "bacon" ruins the texture of the spam, and likewise the spam ruins the flavor of the bacon. It's like bad tasting soggy corned beef. I had the misfortune of buying a can at BigLots, thinking I had hit the jackpot. Good thing I suppressed my urge to buy a case before I tried it. That shit couldn't even move at my BigLots, so they probably just dumped it.tatonka wrote:make sure its Spam w/bacon

Is it just me, or is that the most authoritative, Mosess down from the mountain, you had better listen to this shit or you'll be sorry post ever on here?BBadger wrote:No. That shit is disgusting. At this point I feel like if I saw a friend pick up a can of it at a store I would knock it from their hand and jump on it like a grenade screaming, "Save Yourself!!" to anyone within range.
My only real experience with spam was a recipe my mom tried a couple of times... Spam and eggs spaghetti. Yup, it's exactly what it sounds like. Cook up the spaghetti and spam and then pour the raw scrambled eggs over it. The eggs 'cook' from the heat of the... uh... the eggs create a sauce by... um... the eggs make it hard to determine which ingredient makes this dish the most disturbing.

Retrofrolic's BBQ god has said he's bringing spam wrapped in bacon this year in honor of the theme. Campmates appear to be either repulsed or eagerly awaiting it.
SPAM camp? I think due to the way spam has made it's way into the common vernacular, you've got no problems with it. And hey, the only ones that seemed to have issues with Jiffy Lube was the corporation with the same name!

Oh man...Last year? That picture feels really in place for Cargo Cult.
Giant can of spam? Where did it come from? Must be important.
