Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Anyone have an answer for this?
Why do modern flashlights have screws to open them? Because, there's no problem to opening a flashlight in the dark, while camping. You wont drop the screw and have to look all over the ground for it. No, not at all.

Hey Elorrum!
I got sucked into orbit around a minor planet called Sassie Fras and we've been having some fun. Some big changes for me, but we're still burning, just in a local way. Got back from Lakes of Fire a couple of weeks ago, and it was fantastic. Hope all is well with you.

If I had thought of it earlier I shouldve tried to make it there, Ive never been to a regional burn before.
Not sure if Mpls has its own or not since that would be the closest.
Have a good one Sputnik!

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Hey hello ((((everyone)))
I need a big glass of Bushmills, stat, I am so exhausted and still shell-shocked by the disgustingness of the group house I moved my son out of, this past weekend: ick. I started in with a shovel when I got there at noon on Friday and dropped my gloves in the trash at 4 pm on Sunday. Unbelievable.
Great to hear that you all had a wonderful time at The Hof. Next year, maybe I will join you!
Happy birthday Fishy, I hope you had a good one.
Where is my drink...

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Great party at the Hof! Tribute to the amazing YGMIR! My hero and the guy that will try to do anything and usually does and does it well. He is really the host with the most. Sitting around the fire after the sun went down was like being in a wonderful room with no walls or ceiling. The stars were brilliant and and you could feel the good vibes in the balmy air. Ygimr gave us all a very magical gift that is being amongst his remarkable building accomplishments in the wilderness that is the Hof. Sure, the last 5 miles of that road is really a challenge and well, so is the dust and wind on the Playa, but we all go back and that challenge makes the experience all that more meaningful. Thank you Ygmir and Looneytoon and all of you that were there. Piney, your fire spinning was truly awesome! Love was in the air!
