I will be bringing a Honda 3000 for the spa. We don't use much power and we don't use it at all at night, so I'm sure it could be shared with the main camp. It's very quiet. We just need to be close enough to share. (well, not TOO close....those noises from the RV might keep me up at night)

Barbie Death Village has been placed! We will be on the same spot as last year: 4:00 and E, stretching towards 3:45 (400 feet of frontage on E) and 450 feet deep all of the way to G. Also we were granted all of the early arrival passes we requested, so if you asked for one you will receive one. In fact, we have about 10 more to award but you have to arrive no later than Saturday mid-afternoon and be willing to work like a dog in the hot desert sun.

Hell my dog just lays there in the shade and watches me work. Doc, how does that compare in size to last year?? just curious.

As near as I can tell it's exactly the same. I got an email from a friend of mine who camps elsewhere and he says we're on 4.36 acres. Pretty exacting just to be a guess.

Felony and I just want to let everyone know: Barbie Death Village is full! Now, if Barbie's Day Spa or Dread Pirate Barbie or Dye With Dignity want to bring in another couple of campmates, that's up to Texas Joe, Julia, and Tamara. But we are being swamped with requests from newbies who have no relationship with anybody within our Village begging us to allow them to camp with us and the answer is No! So please refrain from inflicting your tales of woe why you were kicked out of Spank of America or The Lost Penguins, that's not our problem. We have plenty of our own and we'll be damned if we're going to take on somebody else's problems at this late date. Besides, we're simply out of room.

Jesus H…I have been getting emails from one of the denizens who haunt this forum and she's bitching why she is not going to be a Barbiebarian. Hello? You didn't pay your dues, you don't have a way to the playa and expect us to figure it out for you, we get you a nice trailer to camp in and you shaft your trailermates, you cannot contribute in any particular way to the Village yet expect exceptions for some specious reason. Trust me, there are people who are reading this who were expelled from Barbie Death Village (and may well still be pissed at us) who brought a helluva lot more to the table than some snivelling non-self-reliant sparkle pony. Hate me if you will, but at least we have our standards. Now please, get off my back.
