Oh Trilo I feel your pain. Busy all day today with Puppy building our Altar to John Frum. Turns out we need almost two more cases worth of beer cans... now drinking beer as fast as we can.

((((Marty)))) I think we need to arrange a Booble fitting in the privacy of your newly- shaded massage tent. 8)

*Smooches* to all, gosh can't wait to see you!!!

I have one good shot of Piney spinning fire, but at the moment, I'm far away from my computer and camera cables, so it (and several other Hof pics) will have to wait.
We got back from Kelowna, BC, yesterday, after a wonderful visit with my sister, Anita, and her family. She was with us in 2011, when three of us sisters (Delle and I being the other two) went to our first burn. By this time next week, we should be 3000 or so miles east of here, with Delle and her family! Anita will be flying to Montreal on the 10th, to our fourth sister's home, and we'll all drive up to see Delle for a few days. PARTYYYYY!!!
Man... After this vacation, I'll need a vacation to recover! Fortunately, that'll be coming right up... YAY BURNING MAN!!

Thanks for the photos Little flower. I didn't take any. It was a great couple of days. It doesn't look so hot temperature wise in the photos, but going into the Lake was just so wonderfully refreshing. Camping in the woods is so darn clean isn't it?

I agree, thank you. Thanks for helping me load up as well. And FYI, super bonus points for the monocular, and the secret talent whistle. (When Lucky say's she's going to whistle, it's not just a "by the way" it means "duck", and "cover your ears.")

Well, the situation may be salvageable for you, since there is a Kinetic Sculpture Race in Baltimore -- first weekend of May every year since 1999. Web site: kineticbaltimore.com. The site has tons of photos from previous years. :D

So in placement newsletter today is said.

PS. We are moments away from announcing Placement. Your amazing continued patience is appreciated.

So I'm really hoping that means today. But with bm I'm sure some glitch will happen and we will get the email 3 days before we leave lol.

Think they mean today? Damn I need a drink.

If it were today, they would probably just send the damned thing.

So figure on "this week". :)

It's not one single email that goes out en masse. Each placer notifies each camp in their zone of their placement (or hands them the bad news if they aren't placed), as well as early arrival requests. It takes time, as has been mentioned elsewhere it usually takes a few days for everyone to get word. They're still right on schedule, for the last few years notifications have happened within a week of 4th of July.

Good news: Got a new desk today
Bad news: Its 10 inches bigger than the hole it needs to go in.......
The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.

Yes!!! 8) 8) 8) I had a wonderful time in Baltimore at this year's race, and missed you every minute. 8)

Grai, I agree, I never met 10 inches I could not make disappear. Somewhere. 8)

Tonight, again, I am working on producing empty beer cans for the altar to John Frum. Have decided to defer carving flip-flops tp a more sober moment, after stabbing my thumb with an X-acto knife. :? Wild sex, however, is definitely okay. 8)
