First time San Diegan
This year is my girlfriend and my first time to the Playa. Can't wait! I've actually only gotten one ticket so far, waiting on the STEP program for the second. Hopefully that comes up soon. Looking forward to meeting all of you.

Hi Aramirezomni!
Good deal. Don't forget the OMG sale in August (I'm sure you haven't) and look up your San Diego regional groups on Google and Facebook, etc. Meet people! If someone you've met once or twice suddenly can't go, they'll be happier to sell to you than a total stranger.
Hopefully there will be a lot of tickets swirling around in August like there was last year.
Welcome to the board . . .

I've seen a couple on craigslist already, don't forget to check there. And check the numbers on the list to make sure they are still valid! Look in Sav's sig line and you can find the list.
The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Congratulations on getting tickets worked out - prepare well and you ought to have a good time. There's lots of information here on eplaya and - of course - in the mandatory reading.
As Savannah mentioned, San Diego has a regional group. In fact, San Diego has a pretty active Burner community - we have a weekly meet-up at a bar every Tuesday. Be sure to sign up for the weekly news email (follow the links here: http://regionals.burningman.com/us_ca.html) if you want to hear more about that and other local happenings, like poi on the beach, this weekend's cookout, or how to help with the San Diego CORE effigy.
