Hell no. We have our own, SERIOUS, shift scheduling.
(I'm doing seven Perimeter shifts this year. Binoculars. Search lights. Black uniforms. Sniper rifles.)

I finally did get into the Ice shifts schedule. I reckon I'll grab a couple other shifts to make myself useful. After all, there might be cute single ladies on any shift anywhere.

From now on, we're going to straight to Bobcat Queen with any questions. She has the answers and she has them quickly!!!
Here is her reply to the email I sent yesterday asking about the Tuesday Morning shift or about commandeering some other shift either at Ice Cubed or Center Camp. Since a large portion of us stay on the low side of the clock (and a lot in BDV) I figure our best bets are Ice Cubed or Center Camp.

Wow, that shift did fill up fast! My goodness! Yes, you are welcome to bring more people to the shift. They can always go out and help with line control or line entertainment.

I just looked at the other days and it seems there are other shifts available for a larger group. If you'd like, I can reserve as many positions as your camp would like to fill for you under your name, then we can sort out who will be doing what later. Let me know if that works for you and if so, check out what's available and let me know which shift you'd like.

So, it looks like our options are:
1) Show up and raid the Tuesday Shift. Keeping in mind that of the 13 signed up 6 are already from eplaya, so it would really only be like 12 more showing up. Well, then again 13 and another 12 is a HUGE staff at Ice Cubed. We'd definitely need some designated drinkers and Dust Managers
2) Pick another shift and totally take over?
3) All of the above

Understanding that other folks already have commitments to other departments and shifts, who would be able to work a totally different shift?
I put the schedule as of right now at the bottom of the thread so we can all see it pretty easy. We could something like Tuesday evening at Ice Cubed, with Elliot, but that is also the Tour de' Franzia... maybe the Tour de Franzia ends/invades Ice Cubed.

Or maybe we make Thursday the Official EPlaya shift, and Tuesday anyone who wants to just shows up?
FWIW, I'm probably working the Tuesday morning shift just to stop in and see Heidi and Mayor.

I was hoping that from the previous emails I sent, that it would be a theme camp takeover sort of thing. But, apparently I was emailing the wrong person and the communication stopped there. Next time, we go straight to the top.

There was last year -- all right there in front of us. But don't know about this year, since the system is completely different.
