Gate and Greeters often like a cold beverage or something fresh to snack on.

One time at Greeters some nice people gave us cold beer & fresh maple bar doughnuts. That was probably the best. :D

Yes!! Bring your greeters a cold drink. Gate people can't drink a beer when you hand it to them, (at least that's what they said), but Greeters will pass it around and poof! My best greeting gift that I got last year was an ice cold gatorade.

Correct. We have to put it aside for distribution among the crew after our shift. (Which does make sense -- Gate is serious work.) But of course it is still very much appreciated.

Myself, I switched to driving a Perimeter patrol truck, so very sober there. But you may ply me with beer as soon as I get back to camp. Bicycle repair is not yet a "safety sensitive" task.

Started playa-fying a bike, with some contact paper, jute twine, and spar varnish. It's easy to reach for the low-hanging fruit ideas for this year's theme. It can't hurt to make it less green, too.

Bought a half dozen 12 gallon flip-top stacking totes. Checked on the deep-cycle batteries, solar panel, and stakes.

Bought a foldable table for the cooler.
Bought some bizarre hybrid coconut water/espresso drinks to sample for playa use. In Cafe Latte, Mocha, and Vanilla Latte flavors. (and pricey--god we love trendy, don't we...)

Whatever happened to bringing a hot pizza to gate?

I like that idea! Even warm pizza from Reno (read cold) is appreciated.

I'm not sure you are going to get pizza any closer than Reno.
